"I had an amazing experience at the ER today. They were very professional, they treated me with care, dignity, and it took me seriously. I need a treatment, and they treated me. They also ran a test that I needed. I’m so grateful I came to OSU East.I didn’t want to go to any other hospital. The nurses are very kind and helpful, also non judgmental."

"Unheard of...5 hour mandatory wait for walk in emergencies...wow. It seems the objective is to wait you out until you get frustrated and just leave. I waited 7 hours in the lobby in pain before I got a room. This ain't no place to be trying to get well. Shame on this place and there medical team and staff. SHAME! 2/14/24"

"Update Brought here after not being able to breath and nearly passing out. I didnt get help, was lied to about getting a ride back, and was told to wait outside(no phone or hoodie since they told me to leave them),and after a few panic attacks, freezing for a few hours, and being ignored by staff i got intouch with a friend who drove me home. Ive been here 3 times,i never get help. They told me they dont have social workers my 2nd visit, but a few weeks later suddenly they do. They dont care if you feel safe in the home so i dont know why they ask. They did nothing for me getting bleach poisoning, and currently im sitting outside because apparently being lightheaded, dizzy, naseous, and weak isnt a reason to go to the ER,they made sure to make me feel like an idiot for coming here even though the paramedics brought me in. I really needed help and they just made it into a joke. They truly do not care,i question why these people work in this field if they dont want to help anyone."

"My mom has been here since Friday. I’ve sat in the room with her for 3hrs before the nurse even checked on her. She hits the call light and it takes 15min for them to respond. I had to crab someone in the hallway to help my mom get up to go to the bathroom. I had to speak to the charge nurse to get the nurse to come in the room. Very poor service. I left my number for Dr. and nurse to call me with info on my mom when I’m not there. I’ve gotten no calls. I’m taking my mother out of this hospital."

"My father was admitted to at OSU EAST early Wednesday morning 11.29.23. With English being his second language, the confusion and memory loss he is experiencing, we as a family decided that someone needs to be with him 24/7. My sister took the first night shift. She created a make shift bed with two chairs so she can get some sort of sleep since there is no couch or recliner in his room. One of the nurses who came in to check on my dad in the middle of the night saw her make shift bed and found a recliner for her. Thursday night was my shift and after being up and down with my father all night. I was just woken up at 645am because RN ANGELA said I couldn’t sleep on that recliner. She said she found something else for me. This is what she found for me. An oversized chair. As overnight guests, I don’t think this is right. I am waiting for her supervisor. There has been so many people in and out of here and NO ONE said anything about this special recliner. In my opinion, ANGELA should have found a more suitable chair for overnight guests before she took the recliner that she claims is not for guest use."
