"I came here late at night with a brutal stomach bug. The care I received was phenomenal. My Mom brought me and ended up getting sick with the same thing (I assume) and she was wheeled off to the next door room right away. Both of us were given IV fluids and anti nausea meds and were feeling better in no time. The nurses who took care of us were so nice and had a great sense of humor. If I ever need ER care again, this will be my top choice for sure."

"This was one of the best ER experiences I have had. I took my daughter in and we were seen pretty quickly. Everyone was great with her. She was very scared to go into the doctor and by the time we left she was talking about everyone and how great they were. The nurse, NP, Xray tech, registration, and doctor were all kind and patient. They went out of their way to spend a little extra time giving her a positive experience. I was really impressed with the quality of care here"

"I came in with excruciating pain and all of the staff was very kind and caring. The Ed was busy but I was seen fairly quickly. The nurses that took care of me were great! I was definitely impressed with the whole experience!"

"The nurse and Pa was great and the discharge nurse he was great. The X-ray and CT scan ladies were another story they need to have sympathy for patients that come in there. I came in with my back killing me they were very rough and didn’t even help me get off the table after the ct scan they didn’t even come in there where I was talked over the speaker said your done!!! They need a class in treating people with kindness!!!!!!!"

"The only reason that I am even giving 2 stars is because there were two nice lady's that were involved in my care other then that I would not give any stars if I could. When I first went to the desk to check in the lady didn't believe me that my doctor had advised me to get checked at the ER, she said "your doctor told you to go to the ER at 10:32 at night". Right then and there I knew this would be an experience and not in a good way. If this is how you are treated when you check in I can only imagine how I'll be treated back in the treatment room. The doctor asked me what I wanted him to do, let me think oh I don't know treat me and do your job by trying to find a way of helping me figure out what is wrong. The doctor was beyond rude and had an attitude, I asked about my test results and he said everything was fine which was a lie, there were many findings that should have been disclosed to me. When I asked questions he said that's normal to multiple issues, and he even told me not to use anything at home, like muscle rub, to wait until I could get into my doctor on Monday. The only thing he did was order a CT and listen to my heart and lungs, which yes I needed but he didn't even ask where the pain was. He may be a doctor but he overstepped his job title once he is no longer in charge of my case he has no say so if I use muscle rub or not. I get the ER can be very stressful for staff but they should always treat patients like human beings not just a paycheck and rush them out the door. I will not be back to this location even though this is the closest Kettering Hospital for me. You need to remind your staff to treat people like human beings because one day the role will be reversed and they would not like to be treated like I was."
