Our Lady of the Elms School is a faith-based institution located in Akron, Ohio, United States. As the only all-girls school in the Cleveland Diocese offering education from grades 1 to 12, with a co-ed preschool and kindergarten, we are dedicated to empowering girls and young women to live boldly with purpose, confidence, kindness, resilience, justice, and faith. Founded on Catholic principles and enriched by Dominican spirituality, our school is sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of Peace. "I currently go here, and am love with this school! Sure, I've had a hard time making friends, but that's a small price to pay for the quality education i receive. I have a great relationship with all of my teachers, and if I am ever struggling, they will offer to meet with me for extra help. I also love Sister Maura Bartel, the vice principal. She is such a sweet lady with a really great sense of humor. Unlike other vice principals, her goal is to help you and not punish you."

"I attended the Elms since Kindergarten and have since graduated high school, but I cannot thank my teachers at the Elms enough for all they did for me. I did not understand just how much I truly got out of my Elms education until I left for college and realized just how much ahead of my classmates I really was. Not only did the Elms give me a great education, but the small size also gave me opportunities to play sports and participate in extracurricular activities that I would not have otherwise been able to engage in. The Elms allowed me to further my leadership skills, confidence, and friendships, as well as the education I would need to get ahead in the college of my choice. The Elms opened doors that I would never have even known existed, and for that I can never thank them enough."
