"Service is decent, food very nominal, I’m from SanFrancisco…I had the best ever. I couldn’t believe I would pay $15 for 5 pieces of sushimi for lunch…really? That’s ridiculous. I walked out. Don’t ever cone here, unless you have tons of Money. Service…they are not friendly at all. The place is dark and dingy, not welcoming one bit. I hate this place and don’t recommend it to anyone."
"I absolutely love this place, but Im confused as to why they’re so offended to sell extra yum yum sauce? I asked for 2 of the $0.25 cups for extra sauce. Just for the woman to bring back one, and tell me “why do you need more, you already have 2”. Honestly seems extremely rude, especially when I’m paying $17 for a meal and willingly paying for extra sauce. Very rude staff."
"My family and I LOVE this place! Food is always so good! The waitress is always so nice and helpful. We go in so much that she always knows what we want, lol, but she always makes sure anyway. The restaurant is small and perfect."
"Tonight and the last couple of times we have been disappointed. Just not the same. I get that everyone is trying to save and cut costs but this is a shame. Shrimp hibachi was nothing but rice and onions, soup 1/2 filled, and salad is pitiful. The chicken hibachi was good but again so many onions. I stopped buying my daughter the kids chicken hibachi bc there was nothing to it. Now to the adult size. Just not happy anymore. Come on Yamato… you can do better. Step it up and we will definitely come back!!"
"Nice looking interior with a mix of natural wood and stone. It was hot out today but very comfortable with the air conditioning on inside. We ordered chicken stir fry and sushi to share. The chicken was a huge portion with salad and soup. Soup had a nice flavor but maybe a little salty, still very good. The salad was fresh with dressing brought to your table to put on as little or much as you please. Great flavor in the stir fry. We got a California roll, some tuna and crab. All were pretty good at reasonable prices. They also offer lower sodium soy for people that want to lower salt intake. Wait staff is quick and attentive. Overall a good experience. I will be back soon."
