"I always get great pizza at Mikey’s; his pizzas compare well with my Dayton favorite - Marion’s - but Mikey’s have a crispy thin crust which beats Marion’s. Mikey’s appeals to pizza connoisseurs who have more than 50 years experience."
"Every time we get Mikey’s pizza, it’s burnt. Not crispy, but burnt. I’ve asked repeatedly while ordering, for them to please not overcook it. They do anyway. It used to be so delicious and my favorite pizza in town. I told my wife I will never buy it again. She suggested we try one more time. Reluctantly, I agreed. She asked for jalapeños on half. When I got home, the pizza looked like it had double jalapeños on the entire pizza. I don’t like jalapeños, so Mikey’s ruined my dinner. I didn’t waste my time calling them. They obviously don’t care. They just lost a once loyal customer. For good this time."
"I’ve had some ok pizzas from here. And I’ve had some disappointing pizzas from here in the past. Hours used to be sketchy at best and those things have kept me away at times. All that aside the pizza last night was top notch. Had to wait a few extra minutes because they messed up and forgot our order of cheezy bread. But somehow the pizza was amazing. Better than Villa. Better than most pizzas I’ve had in this one horse town."
