"This was one of the rougher visits to Big Boy I've had in a while. It's usually good or what I'd expect. This time was pretty lackluster all around. The server was pretty bland & uninterested in being there. And while, I don't blame her, even a forced positive disposition is appreciated. I've done this kinda work. I know how hard it is to hide your lack of enthusiasm. Again, any kind of attempt is appreciated. There was no attempt made here... I got one of the open faced omelets. It came with the sausage gravy on it. This gravy's consistency was way off. It more closely resembled animal vomit than country gravy. I ate it... it tasted OK? But the look of it was pretty off-putting. Not in a hurry to go back here."
"It looked dirty. We stood for 5 minutes. No service. We sat down due to my wife's disability. They served another couple with a seat, menu, and drink order. They barely looked at us. After waiting 15 minutes, we left. The waiting staff looked like zombies and were not friendly at all. They wiped the table, but left the table wet. Never again! Additional information about my complaint: I tried to talk to them about the many problems about the condition of the restaurant. They didn't address anything about it. They said that they got confused after we sad down. That addressed nothing about my complaint. It didn't address the oily smell to the air and the greasy feel of the furniture. Corporate threw $20 of coupons at me and expected me to go away."
"There are times when you are in the mood for simple diner type food. Big Boy fills the genre perfectly. Nothing fancy but tasty regular food. The service is very friendly and nice, and I've never waited long for food and drinks. The open faced roast beef is great and one of my favorites. Desert isn't bad either, so eat up and enjoy without spending a ton on noney."
