Pampered Paws Pet Grooming

"Literally terrible. Would not recommend to anyone. Its great that they were able to get me in so quick, considering every where else is booked up until February. But I learned quickly that there is a reason for that. The whole experience put a bad taste in my mouth and I would rather just wait a few months for a quality groomer for my dog then poor work here. My dog is a puppy and this was his first time at a groomer. I told them this, I told them specifically that he isn’t a fan of baths, and he’s a bit squirmy. He’s NEVER been aggressive with anyone, ever. He loves people just hates baths. Which is why I took him here because I figured a professional would do a better job than me. Not even 20 minutes after leaving him I got a call saying they couldn’t even get through a bath because he was “aggressive” and “biting people.” I said that he has never done that before but I’ll pick him up. I get there and nobody comes out. They stay behind the window and tell me that I need to sedate him next time and that they can’t have him here. When he came out, he as soaking wet, his collar was broken and his rope leash was wrapped around his neck so tight that I had a hard time getting it off. He was traumatized. I grew up with dogs and everytime I have ever taken them to get groomed, the groomer will take their collar off, are gentle with them and make them feel comfortable. I understand my puppy was squirming and probably tried to nip but my dog has not been the same since I picked him up and I am just so dissatisfied with the whole experience. Unfortunately, I had been told by many people that the service here was subpar. I didn’t want to believe it because it was so close to my house and they were quick to respond. The quick response time is quite literally the only redeeming quality about them. Your pets are part of your family and it’s worth going to a quality groomer over convenience."
