Mario's Mexican Restaurant

"My server was excellent. The owner on the other hand is extremely rude and needs to learn how to speak to her patrons. This is not the first time she's been snippy but it will be the last. I won't be returning, neither will my boyfriend whom I was with or neither of our respective families. People are struggling these days so when they choose to spend their extra money in a local place they should be treated with respect. Feel welcome and leave with a desire to return. Zero desire to return, so zero of my income will go into supporting a local business owner who treats her customers so poorly. Feel bad for the staff that has to work under her. Plus $31 for mini Chimichangas and a taco special is beyond ridiculous- glad I caught the extra pop they tried to get us on. Check your tabs folks"

"I ordered Mario's through door dash. I ordered the pick 10 family dinner and they forgot half my order! When you select one option all the options are listed as plural; tacos(s), tostada(s), enchilada(s), etc. I picked two of each option, tacos, tostadas, mini chimichongas, enchiladas, and mini quesadillas. Yet I only received two tacos, two tostadas, two enchiladas, two mini chimichongas and two mini quesadillas. If ONE option is listed as plural, then I should have received more than ONE for my ONE option I picked. I'm very disappointed and upset. They hardly filled the container of beans, they gave us more rice. I ordered a coke which it did not specify on the menu if it was a glass coke bottle which typically Mexican restaurants sell, but it was infact just a regular Styrofoam cup fountain drink. Good, but I was disappointed. The food was good, I'm sure the service is better if you go to the restaurant itself and sit down."

"My family and I ordered take out. The service was fast, the owner was friendly, but I don't really care for the atmosphere. It doesn't have the Mexican vibe. It's very similar to a 50s diner style. The main issue was the food. We requested mild salsa and it was BEYOND mild. It had NO SPICE and tastes like marinara sauce. The chimichangas and the tacos were unseasoned and had no flavor. The Mario Tacos were wet and stuck together. The chips were bland as well and definitely were different compared to the last time we went. The portions are also insanely small. I've dined here for the past 10 years and ever since the new owners took over, it seems to be losing that Mexican flavor. I can get better food at Taco Bell or El Chaps. Will not be coming back."

"I got the 3 taco dinner with rice and beans. It was very flavorful. The building is small so you think it could be sketchy but it's good food. Just know they serve your food in throw away containers."

"Let me start off with the service is good, kind people. ..but the food,. The pictures i saw on google looked good, and my food looked just like the pictures, but for it looking pretty good, the taste was so off, it gets almost sickening, the beans were somehow crusted, and the rice was served in a cardboard plate with the hot beans. I've been here before and I know mexican food, it has the traditional food that you cant get anywhere else, so thats good ? But to be honest, it's gone REALLY downhill, there are no dessert options. Not even churros. .. there are foam, plastic, and tin type utensils, no salsa verde, orchata, there were other complaints about these things in the restaurant too. I didn't know it changed so much, Im wondering if theres a new owner, its really disappointing."
