Dan's Fan City

"We bought 10 fans for our new house in 2014 because they are high quality and have a limited lifetime warranty on the motors for the original purchaser. They have been trouble free until now. One motor died. Steve replaced it free of charge with a smile. We have to pay the $120 to the electrician for installation and happy to do so. Thank you Steve!"

"Honestly, I have a mixed opinion of Dan's fan City. We purchased three ceiling fans for around $2,000 to years ago and recently one fan in an office that quite frankly isn't used. All that much started not working. I think we paid almost $500 for this specific ceiling fan and I'm being told that I have to purchase a $70 part to fix it. The reason we went with Dan's fan City is the idea of product quality and I don't really feel that a 2-year life on a ceiling fan really bodes well for that quality claim. I've purchased much less expensive ceiling fans in the past and had no issues ever. Just frustrating when you buy into the quality claim and start having issues. 7/10 I get a call from someone from their corporate office with the name of Darby or something along those lines in his smug attitude towards me was a little shocking. Asking how long I've lived in Florida, evidently he knows more about my electrical system at the house than I do even though he's never been there. I'm just amazed if this is the attitude that this company has. I can't see how they've been in business as long as they have. He wants to get into a pissing match with me over what turned out to be a $64 part which should not have broken after 2 years if they sell the quality of products that they do. He was more interested in telling me low level surges can cause the issue, but that would also cause issues to my other non-dan's fan City fans which are working flawlessly. You need to teach your people customer service not smug attitudes."

"These guys are fantastic. I really wanted options and someone to help guide me on what I needed. Yes, prices are higher than a Home Depot or Lowe’s, but you get an actually fan expert and have options to mix and match to get styles we wanted. I will for sure come back to Dan’s anytime I need a fan!"

"We had a great experience here! Our first visit weeks ago was just to check things out and we couldn’t have been happier. Even though the two men in the shop knew we weren’t purchasing that day they were kind, knowledgeable and accommodating. We returned recently and purchased five fans (and yes I always price check to make sure I’m getting the best deal). We opted to install ourselves because their install dates were 2-3 weeks out. First four were a breeze and then we ran into an issue with the final fan. We called the store & Cristina was amazing! She walked us through and when we realized it was a stupid mistake on our part we apologized for wasting her time and she could not have been more gracious advising us and telling us to call anytime! I feel the need to mention in regards to another review here- I purchased two Dixie Bells for my living room and they are super quiet and efficient so perhaps the other reviewer had an installation issue because it’s definitely not the fans! We will be back when we’re ready for new outdoor fans! Thanks so much to the whole team!"

"Purchased 2 identical fans three years ago and after a year we had continual issues with one of the fans. The folks at Dan’s ordered and replaced the defective fan. Now that’s great customer service. We have a covered lanai and it pays to purchase fans that can endure the Florida humidity. You may pay a bit more at this company as they specialize in quality fans but then you always get what you pay for. Highly recommend them as well as D.E.C. Electrical for installation.
