"Make sure you do your homework and know how much your watch should cost. If the price seems too good to be true it probably is. And make sure you get paperwork. I bought a beautiful Rolex with what I thought was a Tiffany blue dial. Turns out the dial was painted a similar blue which was not made clear to me. The owner got around the truth by calling the dial “custom.” Shame on me for not asking specially if each part of the watch was an original, authentic Rolex component."

"I had a very bad experience here. I took my Jaeger Le Coutre watch in last April for a new battery. Paid and a month later the watch stopped. Took the watch in again for a new battery and it was cleaned. In November the watched stopped again. Mik told me that they would take the watch apart and reassemble it. It took two months with frequent visits and finally today 1/18 I was presented with the watch and a $495 charge. I was furious for 9 months of trouble never apprising me of the charge and then expecting me to pay for their bad and lengthy service.... all the sales personal disappeared and left me with the old man presumably the owner. It was not a pleasant experience and I will never go back to them again. Be forewarned..."

"I dropped off my wife’s Cartier watch for repair because it stopped working. They said will evaluate it and call me with the results which they did after a week and told me the repair will cost $500. I told them please go ahead with the repair. They told me they will need to order a gasket and will take two weeks for the repair. Two weeks later I called them and they said the same thing again like we never spoke. They said give them another week. Another week went by i called them again they still didn’t have the watch ready asked for another week. This went on for two months when finally i told them give me a date and time and i will pick up the watch even if it’s not repaired. They gave me a day (yesterday) 2pm. I went there to pick it up and they said it’s done and sorry for the inconvenience and I don’t have to pay anything. I said it’s fair and left. When i got home the watch stopped working. This my experience. What was upsetting they kept lying about the status of the repair for two months. Always was next week, they haven’t ordered the material only after a month. One time they were saying it takes two weeks to get it when i got upset they said it can be there via FEDEX in two days. There is no way i ever set foot into that store."

SWC employee was awesome and knowledgeable, forgot to get his name but highly recommend this store. Had to refrain from buying another watch. They have beautiful, quality watches in store!! "I have been doing with Sarasota Watch Company for at least 10 years. I have sold my Rolex’s purchased Rolex's, serviced my watches and purchased jewelry from them. One thing all my visits have had it common Superb customer service, very knowledgeable staff about their products and a caring attitude. I was at their old store 41 which fun to go to, but the new store on 41 it more specious very upscale. I dealt with Mark today, again very knowledgeable and polite. I recommend them wholeheartedly."
