"Go here!! After scouring through every skimboard/Zap dealer in the Sarasota/Siesta Key area, I finally decided to give it one last shot and visit the factory itself. Everyone in there is super chill, and a pro skimmer named Dylan Duncan walked out and helped me pick out a board after answering my exhaustive list of questions. The people there live and breathe skimboarding, and you can tell. They care about you as a customer, and want to make sure you get the best board possible. Dylan is not just a pro at skimming, but is also one of the most down-to-earth people I’ve ever met. He led me and my family on a short factory tour, showed me every single board I was interested in, set me up with this gorgeous carbon fiber custom, and installed the tail pad. We are super grateful for Dylan’s generosity and kindness. Give this place your business — you won’t regret it. A place like this is what “family company” really means!!"

"Edit: I see some negative comments, and I have to say that I have a hard time believing what I am reading. It sounds like they have never just called, or used the support feature on the site. I did last night at 9pm, and before their business hours my issue had been resolved. This has been the case for more than 15 years for me... I have been riding Zap boards since I was 7 and aside from the amazing boards, their customer service is second to none. I had an issue for the first time in more than a decade, last night and by the time I could call 30 minutes after they opened, my issue was resolved. Their customer service staff is amazing, helpful, and always kind. I would also like to stress that I believe in the product, I was gifted a Zap Skimboard when I was 7 by a guy out on Venice beach. Since then I have always ridden them, their quality is unmatched. Whether a veteran of the surf, or wanting to try it for the first time, they have something that will fit anyone's needs. I have been doing this for most of my life, and have yet to be disappointed. If you are looking to get a quality board, this is the place.
