"I am an aspiring metalsmith and have been going to FDJ for supplies for years. The owners are amazing and don't try to sell you stuff you don't need. You can order from their website, but I like being able to go to the showroom and physically handle some of the tools and supplies myself. It helps me know what it is that I'm getting. If you need anything for making jewelry at all, you need to check this place out!"

"FDJ is mainly a stone, metal, and whatever else you can think of.... tool/material shop. Anyone with an art hobby will find something here to love. One of the best things about the place is that these are not just people trying to sell products. They are creators and artists who know how to get the job done within your budget. They will walk you through the store to help you find what you need for the price you need no matter what medium you choose to work with. I'm a labradorite freak. I am also a wire worker. Adam at FDJ has some of the best labradorite on display here. Not going to lie though I bought most of it but there will be more. He also has quite a few other stones that he cabs himself and loads of insight and knowledge about whatever you might be looking for. The labradorite shown is what I've bought from him so far. They also have metals and wire like a library has books. So I got lost in there for a few hours and came out a very happy customer."

They have a really big selection of fine quality products that are offered elsewhere online, but here you get hands on help & advice from a pleasant knowledgeable staff. The prices are very competitive with other jewelry making / metal working suppliers, and you don't have to order from out of state, pay for shipping, then wait a week to get your materials, you can get rapid gratification. "Great staff, will take time to explain things if you ask, otherwise they assume you know what you are doing and what you want. Great classes offered at FireFly Studios next door. Best place to get jewelry supplies locally. If they don't have it, ask, they may be able to get it for you. Friendly, helpful, lots of stock on hand that you can't find anywhere else in town. They do get busy, especially on Saturdays, so expect a bit of wait, due to limited hours. Shop by web, and pick it up to save wait time, if in a hurry or browse the excellent book selection. They also have YouTube videos for product demo, I love this place."
