Tony Brown met with Client and me to discuss all the options for protecting his house's openings - windows, doors and garage. Options ranged from new windows and doors, hurricane panels, Bahama screens and fabric panels. Tony was VERY patient and thorough in his explanations and descriptions! "Recently had hurricane motorized lanai screens installed and they are worth the price! From the moment we talked to Tony the sales rep at the Sarasota home show to the finalized project everyone has been great! Tony explained everything about the benefits of having the screens, the installation process, how the screens are made and most important how he is always available during and after the process if we have any questions or concerns about them! We had a few minor questions about the permit process and installation. We contacted him by text and he responded immediately. "West Shore Construction was so wonderful to work with! Tony was communicative, friendly, and made sure he did everything to make our job go as smoothly as possible. We got a few hurricane impact windows put in, along with a new impact back door and hurricane fabric panels on the remaining windows, and everything went smoothly. The process took some time since we had to get Historic Preservation approval, but Tony kept checking in and providing everything we needed as soon as we needed it to get through that process. He also made us aware of the MySafeFlorida program which has helped us tremendously and made the project possible! "I moved to Sarasota, FL in the beginning of 2022 and was so worried about the storms and hurricanes, so I got my hurricane fabrics installed last year, and loved West Shore Construction doing the job. They (Scott and Shaun) communicated well, were on time, it was professionally done, and I am feeling so much better knowing that my windows will be protected. I went through Ian (my first ever hurricane) and all windows and glass sliding doors remained safe and everything turned out well. The best of all, I was able to put the fabrics up on my own, climbing the tall ladder to the second floor, and I didn't need to rely on others when the emergency arrived and everyone was busy preparing themselves.
