"Always have done business with Port Charlotte Gorman Company, but due to Hurricane Ian, I had to commute from North Port into the Sarasota store. Extremely dissatisfied with their poor work ethic, rudeness, and lack of appreciation for their client. I was told if I made it before they close, I can fill up my supplies. Upon arrival, I was hastled with a countdown at the chlorine station at which point, M*****w shut the pump off before I was able to even complete filling my chlorine jugs, plus wasn't able to make any other purchases; tablets. Stabilizer, acid. This was my first time in the Sarasota store, and if I had the choice would NEVER return based on this first impression."
"Gorman’s on line, in ads and even on their door, indicate their showroom is open Monday thru Friday. When we arrived at the showroom a person opened the door to tell us the showroom is closed on Mondays except by appointment. She told us to come back tomorrow. We asked if we could make an appointment right then and there and were told “no” even though there were no other customers present. Their attitude was very rude and we will not be back."
"Nice showroom with quality products at reasonable prices. The big box stores sell junk. You are better served by spending a little more for quality products that look nicer and will last longer. Their staff is great. Paul helped us find just what we were looking for at a great price. Not pushy just very helpful. Thanks!"
"Went here to buy a hot water tank. The guy at the counter told me he could not sell me a hot water tank unless i was a licensed plumber? Must have something to do with 911? Or maybe they are trying to create a new law? If you need a hot water tank and are not a licensed plumber don't waste your time here."
