"Your time will be better spent driving miles in any direction to a Hobby Lobby. I placed a curbside pickup order almost 2 hours before expecting to be able to pick up my 2 items at the Tampa Citrus Park store after I picked up my kids from school. I did not receive an email about it being ready, so I took my 3 kids inside and spoke with the lady at the counter. She said that there was nothing she could do, so I went looking for my items myself. There were only 4 other customers in the entire store so I'm puzzled as to why the order hadn't been handled yet. The poor woman at the fabric counter couldn't walk unassisted--I felt terrible that she needs to still be working at her age. We waited a long time to be served even though the ticker showed our ticket number, got the fabric cut that I had already ordered, she very kindly showed me where to find the fiber fill I needed, and I took them back to the front counter. I asked the woman there if she could just use her device (which was lying on the counter next to her) to check off that I had picked up my order myself and she said no, she couldn't. This is ridiculous. She told me to cancel my order (I'll get to that part in a sec) and pay in the store. The extra aggravating thing is that I got better pricing online. The woman at the counter was able to adjust the pricing on the fiber fill, but not the fabric; she said I would have to go back to the poor old woman at the fabric counter to see if she could adjust it. When I left the fabric counter there were two other women waiting with armfuls of fabric so I knew I didn't have that kind of time, with how slowly she moved. So I paid close to $3 more per yard than I had paid online, because I was in a hurry. This is the WORST customer service I have seen in a store in many, MANY years. I used to work in retail and I would have been reprimanded or even fired for being as incredibly dense and unhelpful as the blonde woman at the front counter. And then when I tried to call the customer service number to cancel the order, there's not even anyone to speak to; there is a recorded message telling you to email them! I did email, and it took a second email 2 days later to get anyone to respond to me. The customer service rep told me she wouldn't cancel the order--she said to leave the order alone and it would be voided when it wasn't picked up after 5 days. She send me a $15 Joann gift card to compensate for the fabric overcharge at the counter, but that will be useless because I will never shop there again. Then today I received an email that my order WAS picked up and I WAS charged AGAIN for the items. All because an employee wouldn't TAP A BUTTON on a device LYING ON THE COUNTER NEXT TO HER. Michael's curbside pickup is quick and accurate, and their staff are actually helpful and able to price match. If they sold fabric, I would never visit Joann's again. In fact, after this experience, I will drive to Hobby Lobby in Clearwater any time I need fabric."

"Visiting from AZ and wanted to work on quilt I brought. I bought a basic sewing machine at this store. They were none on display and they refused to let me open box to inspect machine. Now I know why. There was mold on inside of box, on book, and on sewing machine. Obviously the box had gotten wet at some point. I could not take back that day, so I wiped everything down with alcohol. Machine works fine although the sole plate hole is pretty big and tends to pull the fabric down into plate. There is no single hole plate you can buy for this model. If you buy anything from this store in a box, open the box BEFORE you leave the store to make sure there isn't mold in it."

"As a wedding company, this is one of my favorite craft stores because it's very organizer, clean, and offers good deals. The staff are very friendly."

"Jo-Ann's itself is great. Lots to choose from and get great ideas. But the landlord should be ashamed. There are 26 tarps hanging from the ceiling due to all the leaks in the roof. And the air conditioning isn't working. I hope Jo-Ann isn't paying their rent until it's all fixed."

"This is the largest store I have been to and the selection of fabrics is insane. The cutting lines can be a little bit of a wait. But if you need it this store almost has to have it. Friendly staff. Check out the pictures to see all there is."
