"Great people, I was courteously greeted as soon as I entered the door, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and very outgoing. I was there around lunchtime, I was offered a piece of pizza! Greet people, great atmosphere, I'll definitely return whenever I need building materials. I highly recommend Kimal Lumber of sarasota."
"Customer service is the only issue here. Drove 2 hours RT in our snowbird traffic to get here.. guy at the door (very polite) stated they were closed because they were doing inventory.. on a Friday, a little over a week to Christmas. It would have been nice if they had updated their hours on google, instead I'm told, they had a sign posted inside. Other times you call and call and call and no one answers the phone. Or, you take your items to check out and there is no one at the register, you walk over to the offices and try to find someone, you walk over to the warehouse and have to ask around. Three stars strictly because they offer wood and tools you can't really find in too many places. Two stars because they add a surcharge if you are paying by credit card."
"Kimal made obtaining my materials relatively easier than going to a larger retailer like Lowe's they can't tell me when materials would arrive. Kimal also provided free delivery making the planning and preparation part of the project simplistic. Quality people, quality products."
"On the website it states that the closing time is 4:30. We drove 45 minutes to arrive at 4:00 just to be told that they close at 4:00. We asked if we could please come in to make our purchase. No dice, the gentleman at the door was rude and told us that he was closed. If this is the type of customer service that this lumber yard provides I would not be comfortable purchasing any products due to this experience. My suggestion is change your website to reflect the new hours, along with customer service training."
