"Employee at the front pulled few tickets items. She looked up items and said yes they are in stock. But she couldn't leave the front to pull the items. No other employees were in store she said all were on break. That I could come back another day. Go go to Palm harbor location they had plenty in stock. She was rude and not very friendly. This location usually helpful and has great stock not sure what change."

"Yes it's hard to get in the aisle help right away, yes there's a line when it's time to check out, yes you should buy the extended warranty on some of their items, yes for some of the sale items are only at other locations BUT with all these things it's still the first and usually the best place to buy tools. The workers are friendly and try hard to help, some of the exact same things are sold by Snap on and Matco with their name for 3 times more cost. It's definitely the place for tarps, socket sets, wrench sets, screw driver sets, cordless tools, disposable gloves, dolly tires and wheels plus a whole lot more."

"I use to love HF until our recent experience. We have a store next to us that we shop at all the time and never had any issues with the staff and they were out of stock of what we needed so we drove to the next nearest store. My husband needed a wall mount cabinet and asked the girl up front who let the woman know in the back but she refused to look for it and also refused a few other customers who needed items as well and just told everyone everything was out of stock and the cashier even told her we have 4 you have to look for them. Finally my husband left and I called the “corporate” number which is just customer service. My husband went back in and asked for their names so I could let the guy I was speaking to know. The guy who I was on the phone with said they called the store and the staff told them a customer made them feel unsafe and they may refuse service and they completely lied to cover their butts for not wanting to look for the item. My husband was joking and calm with the cashier and that was insane and he didn’t even see or talk to the woman in the back. I put my complaint in and was told I would hear from the district manager and never did. We went back to our local store and they said they know how awful that store is and recommend another store if they are out next time. That is the worst customer experience we have ever had."

"Terrible management that doesn't care. Called ahead to arrange pick up on a $2000 item, let them know we were driving 2hrs to get it and please have it available and ready to load... "Ok. No problem, we close at 8." Arrive at the store and were told to come back in the morning because no one could run the fork lift and there was just two tiny ladies running the whole store while the manager went home 2 hrs earlier. Spoke with "manager" over the phone and he refused to accommodate in any way what so ever and acted like it was our fault. Stay away from this store, go to the Kenneth City or Palm Harbor."

"Love this place! Popped in for a new tool box. Checked online first, went to the store and found exactly what I was looking for. Spent a few extra minutes window shopping and found an additional impulse buy at a great price. I don't buy many tools or hardware but all other prices seemed very reasonable as well. Friendly cashier service. Definitely my go to hardware store."
