"This is the best hardware store you will ever find. The people who work there are knowledgeable, courteous, and responsive. In particular, three stand out: Joseph, Louis, and Chris. Chris guided us through the process of selecting a new Weber grill with expert knowledge. Joseph, who delivered the grill the following day (free delivery, assembly, and haul away of the old grill) could not have been any more helpful. Without being asked, he cleaned the old stand before placing the new grill on it, removed my grilling light from the old grill, and installed it on the new one, going above and beyond cheerfully and personably. He's a great asset to your store. Also, Louis in hardware, last week repaired a lamp for me with great precision and skill. You don't get this kind of service from the big box stores and Ace's prices are often less on many items, but what matters is the customer service, something which is almost non-existent these days."

"Never disappointed when I go there. They always have some cool stuff. Got this White Devil, sorry I don't know it's correct name, but I think it's pretty cool. Picked up some birdseed for a good price. It was on sale. My friend picked up some different kind of plants and bushes that are or will be beautiful. Can't wait to see it bloom. Some already are and looks so cool. The people are knowledgeable. I wish they had at least 1 other person to work in the garden center on a Saturday afternoon. We couldn't find anyone. And the one we did find was busy with several other people. Otherwise it was a successful trip. Went back on Jan 31st and this beauty.. Powder puff. Always have a different selection"

"Let me start by saying we have shopped at this Ace hardware location for approximately 10 years. We recently purchased a pair of Costa sunglasses after the holidays. They didn't work out for my husband,so we returned them within a week,with the receipt and in pristine condition. The store manager proceeded to make us feel like common criminals- making us stand at the register for around 15 minutes while she "called Costa?" claiming the numbers didn't match. She pretty much implied that we had "switched out" the glasses- something we would NEVER do. Why would we want to jeopardize our reputation at a place we frequent??? After she grudgingly gave us a refund,she did not apologize. I asked if the security cameras in the store were in working order,so they could confirm our purchase and she just sort of blew me off. It was an unprofessional and a very disappointing experience. She made us feel as if we had done something wrong,and every other customer that passed us by was I'm sure thinking the same thing. This was not handled well,and the manager was neither friendly or apologetic. After 10 years,we will not return."

"I just moved to this area and quickly discovered that that is the biggest and best hardware store that I have ever encountered. Aside from an incredibly large and diverse inventory, this store has some very knowledgeable and helpful sales assistants. When an electrician I hired asked me to get six feet of ground wire to rewire a chandelier, I was told by one sales assistant that the store didn’t have that, but he got an associate better versed in the matter to explain how a ground wire could be separated from a standard lamp cord—mission accomplished. On another occasion, I repeatedly had drapery rods fall down because the dry wall anchors (supplied with the rods) could not hold the weight. An Ace sales assistant carefully explained how I needed to use concrete screws to anchor the rods into something more solid than dry wall. He picked out the right size screws, washers and drill bit, all of which worked like a charm. This Ace is definitely the place to go for a helpful hardware man!"
