"I am a 90 year old woman who called to get service done they asked for my credit card number and I gave it to them and then they called back about an hour later and canceled my appointment and also said they did not have a technician that could do the kind of work I needed which was to have my dishwasher checked not worked on just checked and then have it worked on I hope I didn’t get scammed sometimes I can’t even afford my medication. So they never came out to do anything and now I’m still stuck with a broken dishwasher"

"BEWARE!!! They did NOTHING they said they would do. Said they would call 30 minutes before arrival. Said the credit card would not be charged for the $59.99 if repair was done. They sent a technician, Eligio Rivas, that did not speak English, not in a service truck, and took him 3 trips to fix a water dispenser line that was leaking. He showed up and even my Mom didn't call me to let me know he was there. He showed my 91 year old Mom, on his cell phone (because she didn't understand him), the part that she needed. I called the "company" and told them he needed to call me first and they assured me he would. He came back the next day, again, with out calling, but my Mom called me. My husband went over and that part did not fix the problem. Eligio said he had to come back with a new plastic line later in the day. I had to call the "company"at 4:45 to see when he would be there. This time he actually called me back and said he would be there around 6:00. For this fiasco he charged my Mom $265.00 plus they ran the $59.99 through on her card. My husband looked the part up on the internet and it was $47.38. What a scam! I called this morning, with an attitude, to get the $59.99 refunded. They agreed to refund after much heated debate. Hopefully they do what they say they will do this time! This is not an actual company. They told me it is an answering service that uses sub-contractors from Miami to Tampa Bay for appliance repairs! Lesson learned!!!!!!"

"Warning! Warning! Warning! this company is not local. The address shown on the Google site is a Mexican restaurant on Main Street. There is also a company called Safety Harbor appliance repair it does not exist as well. The phone numbers are routed to a call center in Arizona that demands a credit card when they set your scheduled appointment and they do not disclose that they are not a local company then they send out a independent contractor that will do the work. However after they tell you how much the estimate is they then attempt to raise the estimate while they're enroute to you and if you don't agree or you consider it to be questionable they fail to show up. then if they show up they attempt to get more money from you and if you don't want to pay that amount they still charge your credit card for what they initially told you when you schedule the appointment. In my instance it was $85 that they attempted to get on my credit card. I then had to dispute the credit card charge to get it removed. They also attempted to get $300 + $350 charge to my credit card. I cannot say enough warning, warning, read the rest of the real reviews not the reviews that appeared to be one-offs or planted reviews. it is sad that they don't disclose the truth of where they are located and that they use fake addresses for the locations that they list here locally in this area.it appears according to one conversation I had with them they have purchased hundreds of appliance repair centers and then do this so-called call center scheduling and then have a terrible reputation of repair, honest pricing, and fair dealings. I again say do not use this company, they will not likely serve you as they tell you by phone. Protect your credit card and you're safety find someone else and make sure they are local not a call center in Arizona or elsewhere."

"I am very disappointed with my experience with Dunedin Appliance Repair. I called to get a piece removed from my dryer and twice they assured me it would only be 59$. As soon as the repair man came he told me another 79$ would be added to my bill and if I canceled they would still take my 59$. The repair man was at my house for no more than 10 minutes. I called again to reask about prices and they said it would only be 59$ for them to come and fix it. When I then asked why they charged me another 79$ and to speak to a manager they hung up on me. Do not be scammed by this company."

"Called and made an appointment for a 9-12 window the following day. With 6 kids it’s important I have my washer and dryer working. I called off work to be sure to be home for the repair man. I even paid a 60$ deposit for the appointment. I sat and waited till 11:45 during my appointment window and finally called to see if they were close. I was told by the receptionist that my appointment had been canceled due to the repair man being out of town. My refund has not gone thru, I’ve now lost a day wages at work and my washing machine is still broken. If they had called me the day before, like they are trying to say they did, I would have had time to find another tech to come diagnose and fix it. I have my entire call records and have proof that the only 2 phone calls to or from the repair company were 1. Me booking the appointment, and 2. Me asking how far they were and being notified of the appointment being canceled. This is unacceptable business and I believe they are running a scam on collecting deposits and not coming or refunding. Be SMART and take your business elsewhere!!!"
