"Everglades city is a very friendly place to visit. I stopped at the visitor center first. Marya gave me the low down on this quiet little city. Check out the paintings by locals. They have an historic district which is worth checking out. You can actually walk the historic district. Every building has a story board with its history. If you need a hotel room better book early. I could write a ton of stuff here about what I saw in this city but better for you to check out on your own. There was even a movie filmed here in the 1930's"
