"This is where we often go for vacation and most of the time the rooms are great but this one condo A929 was actually dangerous, five steps were loose and one was very bad loose, you could pull it up about 2 inches and if you weren’t careful you were going to fall down stairs. Having a baby with us we had to call the office on day one to fix it for fear of falling carrying a baby and they told us they would have it fixed that day, 5 days later when we checked out it still had not been fixed. This is without a doubt dangerous and should not be allowed. I will be contacting the owner"

"We stayed in a unit on the top floor that was not part of the main building. The unit had been recently remodeled which was pretty nice. However, the air conditioning was a major problem. I had a bad feeling when we drove in and saw a huge A/C Chiller sitting on a 18 wheeler flatbed trailer that was hooked into their system. Then I noticed our unit had 3 large floor fans. Apparently their main unit does not work - not sure how long it has been out. But this temporary solution was not sufficient to cool our unit below 80 degrees (about 83 in the day) while we were there (first week of August 2022.) The staff was very responsive and friendly and tried to be as helpful as they could including by comping 1 night and purchasing a new portable A/C unit for our condo from Lowes, but it only helped in the master bedroom where it was located. Other than that, we liked the place and the location was great. If they fix the AC we would stay there again but not before then."

"Pinnacle Port is condominiums, however for locals they have 10 public parking places plus handicapped parking free to use. That's where we go all the time! Camp Helen State Park is to the right and so is Lake Powell. (The largest Dune Lake in the United States). It's not too crowded and you really don't have people walking in front of you. The Sherriffs Department usually has a truck sitting there in case of an emergency. It's a really quite place and great for children. You can walk about 1/2 mile to the lake and hangout there as well, but no alcohol in the state park. We love to snorkel & always get our fair share of shells. Fishing is good there too. Kayaking, water boards, jet skis & boating is welcome in the lake as well as the Gulf. Fun, fun, fun!"
