Resort Collection

"Stayed at Majestic Beach Resort tower 1 unit 1004...not as advertised. Owner & Resort Collections should be ashamed to rent this unit. Biggest issue was king in guest room bed frame & box spring was broken upon arrival, reported immediately. Took until Thursday to replace causing my family to drive back to Mobile due to no bed to sleep on. Most light bulbs were out, floor is a trip hazard from lifting, only 3 dining chairs & a broken bar stool, no remote batteries, barely enough linens for 2 people, balcony furniture is old, broken & dangerous, balcony was filthy, not even a decent pan in kitchen or can opener that worked. RC response...as per your contract we have 48 hrs to make repairs. RC did offer to move us to a lesser unit without enough beds to accommodate my family. Finally 72 hrs/3 days into my vacation, way too many texts & calls a manager contacted me with excuses & blaming everyone except RC for the issues & ruining my stay. RC did finally agree to refund a very small amount & repair issues. My family returned on Friday but was forced to miss 3 days of their vacation due to such poor management & condo conditions. 1 star because the complex/beach/amenities & location was great. Book through anywhere else!"

"The condo was nicely decorated and just as the pictures posted. The A/C did not cool very well. The shower could use new shower head and the bedroom could use some better blackout curtains. But the elevators were quick and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again. (We stayed in Continental condominiums unit#422)"

"Checked in and our room smelled horrible. Took 2 days to resolve the issue ( garbage disposal) and on top of this the fridge leaked. Had the smell not have been and issue I would have given a 5 star. The 2 stars is for location and pools. Never seen a dive in movie or Minnie bowling alley. The beach bar closed really early on a Saturday like 5:30 early. To be fair it is off season. So I’m sure this was a factor."

"Edgewater Resort Tower 3 room 804. My family of 3 had a terrific stay. The current pictures RC are showing of the unit does not show the current updates to the unit. There is no carpet (big plus), and the unit has been redecorated. And it is really nice and comfortable. Our unit was very clean and welcoming. Edgewater Resort is perfect for families big and small. The location is perfect. The staff is very nice and helpful. The pools and splash pad are a perfect temp and never felt over crowded. Beach access was just a few minutes walk from our unit. Cons of Edgewater was the parking and the railing. The railing that leads to the unit and the railing on balcony of our unit made me feel very nervous. This is because my 3 year old could easily fit through the railing. We ended up buying some garden netting and put it across the railing in our unit and that solved it. Resort Collection I do recommend calling vs messaging. You do get a faster response that way. They were very accomedating to my family. We originally had another unit booked at another resort but due to some recent concerns that I expressed to Resort Collection they switched my unit to my choice with no questions asked. Thank you so much RC for a great stay! We would book this unit again!"

"We arrived to a unit under construction and not the unit we had selected online. Then downgraded. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE CROOKS. 1. This unit was not the unit we searched for and selected based on our preferences. 2. All balconies are closed at this porperty as of May 16th and this was not disclosed in your advertising. 3. Parking fees were assessed daily and this was not included in your advertising. 4. We did not receive what we paid for 5. Unit we were put in was damaged. Partial walls painted. Broken towel rack. Toilet was slow to flush. Light fixtures falling. 6. I was threatened by you that if damage was done to the unti that you would be coming after me for charges. Suggesting I would do anything to damage someone elses property is completely unacceptable. 7. This unit had nothing in the kitchen like the unit we originally selected had. 8. Unit had no internet and no wifi. 9. Old and run down and we had selected a “newly renovated” unit. 10. Passcodes to front gate and to pools was incorrect in your mailings and not given to us until I called regarding the room we were mislead and lied to about."
