"The views of Lake Monroe are spectacular! This was my first time visiting. You can relax and enjoy the scenery, ride bike, walk, jog, etc. There is also a kids park nearby. There is plenty of side street free parking. They have various places to sit as well as long metal benches that swing (very relaxing) which are shaded. I rode my bike on the River Walk Trail which leads to a bridge that travels over to the Lake Monroe Park bike trail."
