"Casa Brea is an excellent place to live due to its wonderful interior apartments. However, the cleanliness of the community's grounds deteriorates once you reach the building's breezeway. It is in desperate need of pressure cleaning, and in my opinion, they should eliminate the valet service, as it only contributes to a messier hallway due to accumulated trash. It is crucial that all buildings receive a thorough cleaning with the appropriate deodorizing products. I sincerely hope they take this matter seriously, as many buildings here are unclean and present an embarrassing sight. Such conditions make it impossible to invite guests over during the holidays."

"Casa Brea boasts the title of “luxury apartment” living, when in actuality, it’s more like a luxury trash can. If you desire true luxury apartment living at the rental rates this place rents for, look elsewhere. If you enjoy living in an overpriced glorified dumpster, then this place might be for you. Let me begin by stating that the grounds are very well maintained, especially the entrance into the complex. The amenities like the pool, gym, playground, and tennis courts are also very well kept, but that’s where the “luxury” of this complex begins and ends. The units are hanging on by a thread with old and dated appliances that breaks down very frequently. Closet doors often comes off the hinges due to poor installation. Window blinds are bottom of the barrel and open easily, but take half a century and the patience of a saint to close. Too frequent not to mention AC outages from old centralized units that they refuse to update. I’ve seen them install window units in many apartments because of central units breaking down and taking too long to fix. The gate has been broken now going on a month and a half. Typically, it breaks down almost weekly or bi-weekly, but as of lately, it’s just one of many neglected issues with this complex. The complex is managed by Fogleman and for the past couple years, they’ve struggled with retention of maintenance workers. Because of this, work orders sit for weeks on end without completion. It gets so bad that they have to send a maintenance guy from another property Azola, that they manage to come once a week to catch up on outstanding work orders. The maintenance staff are generally really nice and though they don’t stay very long, will tell you that the issues stems from too much work for extremely low wages. The leasing office was once very well staffed, but now they have only one dedicated leasing agent, Claudia. She’s a sweet lady who does the work of at-least three people. Because of her extensive workload and being the only one consistently in the office, the efficiency, communication, and production is piss poor. She’s clearly overworked and it’s affecting the overall functioning of the complex. There’s supposedly also an office manager on site, but any given time you walk into the leasing office, she’s nowhere to be found. I think she floats between properties, but is more visibly absent than present. Overall, the place has a deal of potential to live up to its proclaimed title of luxury apartment living, but until some internal operational kinks are worked out, it is merely a well manicured rubbish can on its way to being another overpriced and run down apartment complex in South Florida. I'd sincerely recommend you to look elsewhere."

"At first we loved it here. In a way we still love it here but there has been a problem for 2 months with our air conditioning and finally after contacting corporate it’s being worked on now but we don’t think it will be completely fixed. 2 months with no air in 2nd bedroom and bathroom and we sent in complaints all the time. Also two months without ice maker in the refrigerator and finally Rodney came thru for us before he left. Always knew Rodney would get the job done. Doubted maintenance supervisor from the start and still have doubts he will come through with fixing the AC."

"I moved to Casa Brera after divorcing and needed a new start. I felt at home every time I came into the office because Claudia was always their with a smile on her facing greeting you. She is very compassionate, great personality, and she is such a joy. She helps me with any concerns that I have and she always try her best to help. She follows up with you and if there is a concern, she takes care of it right away. I think because of the location and the friendly staff, the process of living by myself after 19yrs was a wonderful experience. I know someone people reviews are not that good well everyone has different experiences, but I know my experience was wonderful."
