Portofino Cove Apartments

"Do not rent here Management is a joke and do not communicate. Whenever I would go up there to talk to Dyaln or Mary Kate they where never there and would never answer a phone call or a message. I don’t even know where to begin. I wasted my whole summer waiting for maintenance to show up and fix my dishwasher and toilet they never showed up time and time again never a call or anything. When I tried to call no one would answer the phone even if I called multiple times back to back. I would always have to go up to the office or call them to find out what is going on. Air conditioning never really worked the whole time we lived here. October was the breaking point when my husband and brother took off time to be there for maintenance to fix our unit. On october 30th unit was not working and he came right away. However on November 8th it was not working again and I made a call right away. They showed up on November 9th and said they “fixed” the problem. However it was not fixed because it was almost 79 degrees when I got home and it was almost 90 degrees outside. They said that someone was going to be there on November 10th so my brother took of work to be there and NO ONE showed up he went up to the office twice and was told someone would be there. The third time he went up there he was told they won’t be coming till Saturday. When I called to speak to Mary Kate she said that someone had to be there to let the maintenance guy in because they don’t have a key anymore for my apartment anymore since I had not given permission for them to enter the apartment without me being home. He was supposed to be there around 12 but did not show up till after 6!! This place is the absolute worse and I really hope if you are going to rent there read these reviews"

"management/ administration are horrible with communicating and getting anything taken care of with tenants about anything from maintenance scheduling to the changing on rent every month. my "move in maintenance " was only taken care of due to a leak in another apartment 6 months after we moved in. I made many efforts to get it fixed. and the administration did nothing.i wouldn't recommend"

"Very disappointed with these apartments at first they make it look all pretty and once you move that’s when the issue start. While living there trash was never picked up and we charged monthly for valet trash. The gates never closed. They sent everyone stickers for the gates to make everyone think they were going to be fixed, year later, moved out no gates fixed and my husbands van was stolen. Cameras don’t work so don’t count on your values being safe. My husband and I were told by Mary Kate that our cleaning fee would be waved if we cleaned it very well and covered up any holes on the walls when we moved out. We spent 4 HOURS cleaning that apartment so it was spotless. I did the walkthrough with Mary Kate and she confirmed herself that it was left super clean and smelling good. I took her word for it. Then found out they still charged us all that after we did all the cleaning. I’m sure pretty they tell the same thing to everyone, charge the cleaning fee and have no one come in to clean the apartment so they can keep the money. Horrible apartments to live in, don’t recommend these at all !!"

"Extremely helpful. And haven't even moved in yet. Mrs.Amber Haas has been so attentive, and very welcoming, God bless her and her staff with all the help trying to get a home for me and my kid. It's a new beginning for me."

"if I could give this place zero stars on this review, I would because of the fact that maintenance would never attend to the services that was needed and would only temporarily fix the problem. On top of that every single month rent was somehow always more than $1000-$2000 more than the original rent. On top of that when I moved out they put my account into collections for $4800 on rent that is nonexistent because everything was paid before moving out in August 2023. Stay away from this place, because they will mess up your credit, your life, and the way that you live in these apartments."
