"I'm very disappointed with this hotel. I made my reservation for 12/8-12/10. My husband and I came for my cousin's surprise birthday party. We checked in 12/8 it was cold that weekend and when we entered the room it was freezing, my husband turned on the heat but the room wouldn't get warm. My husband went to the front desk to advise the clerk and she said we don't have any other rooms available and my manager is aware. My slept in our clothes. The next morning my husband and I went to eat breakfast and when we came back the room was still cold. My husband went back to the front desk, this clerk was helpful, she had someone bring us a heater. My husband and I left for the party that started at 3 and when we returned a little after 8pm, the heater didn't work. My husband and I decided to check out. I have a history of pneumonia and I wasn't able to stay in those conditions. We explained to the clerk what happened, she apologized and advised we wouldn't be charged for 2 nights $278. 98 and printed a receipt for $139. 39. A few weeks later, I see my credit card statement and I was charged the full amount. I called the hotel for 2 weeks requesting a manager and was told to call back in the morning when the manager was there. I called corporate and was advised to call the hotel. I tried to dispute it with my credit card company but they replied saying the charge was valid because I left after 8. The issue I have, is that's not what I was told and I was never able to speak to a manager in regards to this issue. I have never stayed at the Comfort Inn and never will again. The customer service, the rooms, and the cleaniness was unacceptable. I have never experienced such rude and unprofessionalism in my life. I never leave a review, but I wanted to make people aware who are traveling and in the area. Tamara"

"Wow. I figured this to be just an average stay. I was surprisingly wrong. The staff was so polite and helpful. My room was impeccable. Will not overlook this place again."

"This is an absolute garbage hotel, front desk is rude, house keepers are liars. They state I smoked in my room. I have a disabled 9 year old daughter and a 2 year old daughter I was in the room from 9pm till 9 am. Just to sleep while in town helping my father move. I am already strapped for cash then you have these thieves falsely making claims to increase their bottom line."

"Biggest disappointment from Choice Hotels in quite some time. Convenient location for travelers and check-in girl was very pleasant but room had a perfume smell, as if they were trying to cover up a musty smell. The pillows were not comfortable. There was no juice at breakfast and was told juice machine had been down all week. Also the milk was either watered down or skim. It was definitely not worth 30,000 points. That's the points for Winter the Dolphins Beach Club in Clearwater, Fl, not a Comfort Inn off the interstate in Fort Myers. Disappointment, big disappointment."

"My sister came in from California and I came in from Chicago to Fort Myers to help our mother whose home was damaged by Hurricane Ian. This hotel is very close to where she is staying (a trailer on the other side of her driveway) so we didn't need to rent a car. We are sharing a room. It could use a little updating, but the room is plenty big enough with two queen size beds, a lounge chair, a big screen TV, good WiFi with a lot of places to charge your electronics, a desk with chair, and the bathroom vanity is spacious enough to hold all the toiletry and makeup products that come with two women. The beds are comfortable and have nice, crisp linens. The staff has been friendly and responsive. This hotel is within EASY walking distance of a Cracker Barrel and Waffle House. We are having a pleasant stay, considering the fact that we have been witness to a lot of devastation from the hurricane, and have helped our mom pack up things that can be salvaged from her home, as she will be able to rehab her house with a lot of volunteer help from friends and strangers. The room also has a small fridge and microwave, which have been enormously helpful. I highly recommend staying here if you can live with free continental breakfast but no room service. You can have things delivered here by Uber Eats and probably other services. Reasonable pricing."
