"My stay is going well. Here on a two day work trip. The location is fantastic and very laid back. There is a Publix in walking distance and everything is very clean. Just went down for breakfast and was amazed by the set up!! Such a great job."

"My wife, two boys and I have been coming to this location for several years for vacation - the facility offers wonderful accomodations that allow you to unwind - there's a basketball court, pool, hot tub, fire pit, gas grill, continental breakfast, and gym all on site plus you are walking distance to the 7-11, Gator bites bar and grill, and the publix grocery store - for us location and amenities are everything's and this place has it all! So thankful they're bouncing back from hurricane Ian in a big way!"

"Room was significantly below expectations as well as location. Everything is run down and closed in the area due to the hurricane. Room and hotel as a whole could use a total make over. Several maintenance issues with room 225: running toliet, sparking outlets, ceiling is peeling, windows are broken and open - people smoke and throw buds on roof, cleanliness was below average, and room was old. Shampoo was near empty when we entered the room on day one and the floor was not vacuumed. Overall was pretty uncomfortable staying there."

"If you are a light sleeper, beware. The AC vents in the standard rooms are extremely loud, as they stand near 5ft high, located right at the foot of your bed. During this last stay, I was woken up all night long by the sound of it roaring on and off. This is my 4-5th stay at this hotel. After repeatedly requesting quiet rooms with each visit, I finally realized that it is best to book a room with 2 queen beds (using only one of the beds that's furthest away from the vent) or to book a king suite (the bedroom has a door to the living room, and the AC vent is located in the L/R.) These 2 options are more expensive than just booking a regular standard King room, which is frustrating, but it's necessary for me, in order to get a quiet night of sleep. And still cheaper than staying at the Marriot Sanibel Resort down the street, which I've also stayed at. Another tip: rooms on 1st floor are newly renovated (no carpeting) but the room I stayed in had a bit of an ant problem at the time. Staff nice, always accomodating"

"Employees were very hospitable and friendly. Lobby area was lovely as was the pool area. However upon check in our room we were assigned smelled strongly of cigarette smoke plus a ton of fragrance to try to cover it up. It was unbearable to be in. Meghan at the front desk was awesome and immediately got us moved to the last room available. Overall, the rooms looked aged and need massive updating. Carpets were ripped in places and stained. Living room furniture needs updating as well. It was completely unacceptable that the hotel was without electric on the Tuesday of our check out. I had someone with a disability in my party and he had to walk from the 5th floor down the stairs because the elevator wasn’t running. Totally unacceptable. We will not book here again due to the status of the room and the electric being down, though I realize that’s not a regular occurrence it still effected our stay."
