"Update !!! The complex now has confirmed brown recluse spiders inside the units. These are extremely poisonous spiders that can cause flesh decay all the way to death. I reported it but the management is in no hurry to have them treated. Just know that every unit here has a termite infestation and dangerous spiders. When they send someone for treatment they only approve spot treatments so these infestations never actually end, they just wait for the next tenant to complain. The manager email they give you in the response to these reviews just go to the same management team that will not help you. The place only cares about money though so they are unwilling to show good faith and unwilling to remove you from an inhabitable dangerous space. Deserves zero stars - I moved in 3 months ago and have been asking for help with the termite infestation and other maintenance issues. They simply do not respond. The termites are swarming the attic space so they come out of the walls at night in the number os 200+. I find termites in my cabinets, my bathroom, my bed, my clean dishes and fridge! The plumbing is also so bad they had to be put into an actual law suit to stop SEWAGE from going into the apartments. The island is beautiful, but the Place only cares about money. I'm a new resident of three months that hasn't finished unpacking because it is unliveable. And Ivanna and Jennifer in the "front office" refuse to help. DO NOT MOVE HERE."

"Please do not waste your time or money at The Place. The amount of issues I’ve had with my apartment ranging from power outages in excruciating Florida summer heat (with zero A.C) to mold problems they never got back to me about after 5 months (and now I and my partner suffer from respiratory problems) to plumbing issues that required me to use public bathrooms and friends toilets/showers that took well over a month for someone to even consider looking at is atrocious. To put it plainly, the staff does not care about their tenants well-being in any way, shape, or form and might as well not have a job because they never do theirs. I’m unbelievably disappointed in this place, as I was very excited to live in a lovely neighborhood and what seemed like a decent apartment. But the nightmare I’ve been put through for the price point I’ve paid is absurd. Please take this as a warning to go elsewhere and save yourself from a potential hellish nightmare. I wish there were an option for zero stars, but unfortunately I had to click 1."

"Very disappointed with these apartments. I'll start with the most egregious offense. The floor construction is very cheap. So cheap that I can understand the television and conversations from my downstairs neighbor. I can only imagine how loud it is for them. Its basically thin pieces of wood like lats tacked to the ceiling below and then a cheap, thin carpet tacked on top of the wood. There is no space, no joists and no carpet padding. It is beyond loud. Even with ear plugs, I can still hear the noise. The property manager agreed there should at least be padding underneath but then came back and said none of their vendors would work in an occupied residence during the pandemic. I called three places myself and all three said that wouldn't be an issue but since they are not one of the specified vendors, there is nothing they can do. They have yet to respond to any of my alternative suggestions and they won't let me out of my lease. In addition to the above, my closet had shower rods to hang clothes. Nothing was bolted in so as soon as I tried to hang something, they fell down. Still waiting for a proper replacement. My kitchen floor was raised but not fully complete so my oven dips an inch below in the back. Property manager has yet to acknowledge it. It took them two weeks to get me my mailbox key only for it to be to the wrong one. These apartments are not luxury. Cheap carpet, no carpet padding, no dishwasher, no garbage disposal and poor construction. The only positives I can share are the community pool is always kept clean and so far no bugs. I wanted to live on Davis Island but there are plenty of nicer places for the same rent elsewhere. I would choose any of them at this point."

"My experience thus far has been nothing short of excellent. I could not be happier with the renovations as well as the neighborhood these places are nestled into. The neighborhood is quiet but you can also find some fun restaurants and bars just down the street if necessary. Last but not least the management staff has been responsive and very friendly."
