Camden Preserve Apartments

"Horrible management I've had to live with trash on my door step for the last 5 months. They have an issue with their trash valet service. They make you pay for the worst possible service, and animals get to their trash cans and its disgusting at least 2 days a week. Have talked to management more than 10 times, they always say they are taking care of it and nothing gets done. I am obligated to pay for a service that can easily get my children sick. When I told them I would be taking my own trash to not charge me for this useless service I was told that I'm under contract and I can't not. WHAT HAPPENS IF IM A DAY LATE FOR RENT? A 250 dollar fee, they are late 5 months in solving this issue and I'm stuck in a contract to pay for something that clearly is not working for US."

"We have only been living in the Camden Preserve Apartments for a short time, but we already love it here. The apartments are very nice, and we are beginning to get settled. Obviously, there is never a mandate that things can go wrong, but as we all know, little things seem to come up when beginning anew. I am writing this review so that anyone interested in Camden Preserve will know how caring and prompt this complex is whenever there is a need for maintenance or a repair. The team is Alex, and his crew is Edwin and Jose. I say this because we came to Tampa from Nashville, and we lived in a nice complex, but if there was a problem that needed attention, the maintenance staff had to go through such a long process to address it that it became a frustration. Even the littlest thing had to have a maintenance request, and then be approved and then you waited as long as they took to “get around to it,” sometimes it was a while. I had come to expect that as the “normal” routine, until I came to Camden. We had a big problem with the Microwave oven, it didn’t go around; it got stuck and wasn’t able to turn so things could be burned. They tried to get it to work, but with no luck, and just like that, Jose and Edwin came to replace it, and it was only a day later; we were very surprised and that was great. My son blew a fuse in his bedroom, and literally within minutes, Edwin was here to get it back in working order and the power was back on. The patio door was missing a lock, and Alex put a new lock on the patio door right away after we asked. I mean, it has been so nice to know that whatever happens, they will be there promptly to fix it. It may seem like a small thing, but it isn’t when you need help, and a comfort to know, these guys will always be there as fast as they can; they literally get the message and come to address the problem right away as soon as possible. The maintenance staff consists of three great guys who seem to know how to do everything. I’m sure that is a stretch, but they seem to know how to fix any problem. I am sure Alex is the absolutely best teacher, my sense is that he really does know how to do everything, and I am guessing, but I bet Edwin and Jose have learned a lot from him. The best part is that it is very obvious they all love what they do, and want to help anyone who has a problem as promptly as possible; it matters and we are grateful. They are so nice, and so willing to help, it is a pleasure for me to write this review. We wanted people to know how important they are as part of a very nice working staff here at Camden. Everyone is so willing to help with any request, it only takes an “ask”. It does give you a sense of peace to know you will not be left out if you have a problem that needs fixing. The Camden property is quite large, and the maintenance staff rides around in little carts, and they move fast from one place to another. I love the grounds, and the little lake, and the ducks that seem to be there all the time. We have a little dog, and I think she loves it here too. The property is wooded, and so beautiful with plants and trees, and she loves to be out walking here, and so do we. Just thought I would let you all know if you are looking for a nice place to live in Tampa."

"I recently moved into a new apartment at Camden Preserve and I love it here! The management team (Cindy and Gretchen) are very friendly and responsive. I love that I can text the property staff any time and they will respond back promptly to assist with anything I need. The maintenance team has already helped me in my apartment with multiple tasks and Edwin was awesome. The property has a luxury feel and I appreciate all the amenities on site. I have already gone to the pool and it's very relaxing. I also thought the pool furniture was super nice and comfortable for laying out. In my unit, I enjoy the stainless steel appliances and large windows for natural light. I think the location of Camden Preserve is perfect because it's by the water but still central to so many different parts of Tampa Bay. Great apartment property if you're looking to live in Tampa!"
