"Nice apartment, great location and spacious layout. I’ve been living here over 2 years now so far so good. Of course there are minor issues but everywhere does. Happy living here and hopefully we can have more events like this one cuz I am big fan of painting. Highly recommended!"

"Cortland Uptown is the place to be! They are located in a great area that is very convenient for stores and restaurants. They are by a beautiful park called Crane Roost Park. They always have activities especially for the holidays! I definitely recommend Cortland Uptown! The staff is also very helpful and always has a positive attitudes."

"I wish I could give this place zero stars. The staff is very rude and unprofessional. Denis is the absolute worst of all! She will turn off your key card if you make a complaint that she doesn't like or approve of. They have been doing construction from 7am- 7pm EVERY. DAY. Even Sunday! Listen to the video I uploaded. This is how loud it is inside the unit. They will claim they notified tenants about the construction but they did so AFTER new leases were signed and rent SIGNIFICANTLY raised. What does notifying you that you’re going to go through over a year long construction process with constant noise and drilling 24/7 even do? What are tenants realistically supposed to do after we already signed the lease? They offer no solution other than move out. Also, majority of the 5 star reviews are from the previous management company before Cortland took over. And now they give people incentives for writing a 5 star review so DO NOT TRUST THEM! Run far away from this raggedy place!!"

"My experience with courtland has been an absolute nightmare. They took over for the old management who was great, raised our rent by over $200 stating they would be “improving the apartment complex” turns out that “improvement” was constant construction on the other units from 9-6 Monday - Saturday that’s so loud my wife can’t do her work from home job in our apartment. This has been going on since May and will be going on with no end in sight. Their solution was essentially deal with it or leave. Along with this their garage door is always broken, dog waste constantly in the complex, a constantly dirty trash room that is so packed with garbage that you can’t even walk in sometimes, and a rude employee Denise. After these issues and being offered an out we decided to take it and my wife left a negative review of the facility which she had every right to do. Denise then called her harassing her about her review telling her to take it down and that she’s “messing with people’s livelihood” like their poor management hasn’t messed with our home. Upon this harassment she antagonized my wife, hung up on her and then when my wife went to the office to ask a question, was rude and slammed the door in her face. After all of this it didn’t end there, immediately after our key fob to get into our home was deactivated restricting our access to our home and we had to get another employee to give us a new one. It’s disappointing that a place that was so nice to live under old management has been unbearable now. I wouldn’t recommend moving here by any means"

"Be aware of the 5 star reviews as they are giving out an incentive for leaving positive reviews. My best friend lives in this complex and I visit her frequently. She has lived here for 2 1/2 years and it has truly gone downhill. They’ve taken away amenities and added fees. Parking used to be free, now even the residents have to pay to park. Residents also have to pay a “electricity fee for common areas.” I’ve never heard of an apartment complex charging the residents for the electricity bills in the hallways/offices. The people in the office are extremely rude. But the biggest downfall of this building is the construction. They are doing construction on a building that was just upgraded. The construction is 7 days a week from 7am-7pm. It is UNBEARABLE noise all day. I feel terrible for the people who work from home or have children. They actually raised the rent instead of giving a discount for this noise. After leaving a negative review, the leasing agents began calling my best friend on their personal phones telling her she’d better delete her reviews and she’s “messing with their livelihood.” Instead of rectifying the issue, they started threatening and harassing her. Beware!!"
