"My mom fell on his property on May 9th 2019. She broke her ankle in several places and had surgery on May 23. A plate and several screws to repair her ankle. He wants to file against us for rent. He is a horrible person. My mom is 72 and this has flipped our worlds upside down."

"I’m sharing my review to warn others of my experience. I lived in one of Homestyle Realty’s rental homes with my ex back in 2014. My ex was abusive towards me and I made plans to move myself and our children out to get away from him. I talked to the owners of Homestyle Realty about my situation and asked if they would let me out of the lease. Especially since I knew that my ex is really irresponsible and would most likely stop paying rent once I left him. They refused. And just like I thought, my ex stopped paying rent and we were both served with the eviction. I was a single mother of four children trying to start my life over and my ex ran to Maryland to escape the eviction and keep from paying child support and these two people still took me to court knowing I didn’t even live there anymore. Long story short, I ended up having to come up with almost $900.00 because my ex refused to come to court or pay them. Also, the floor was caving in in places, the roof leaked and overall the house should have been condemned. Beware and warn others before they get scammed. These people only care about themselves and making money off of poor people by renting out uninhabitable shacks."

"Worst landlord i have ever met. He shafted me out of nearly $700 and told me it wasn't his problem. Homes are deteriorated and one step above condemned. Maybe one step above. Believe the crap you hear about this slumlord!! He is the worst i have ever met."

"Horrible. Places are masked repaired. Rents to high for the service and quality. He prejudges people based on looked. I personally witnessed him refusing to rent to a couple who put the deposit down. His words. They look retarded. Im not renting to them. Them kept 300 of their deposit for application fees. Outragous."
