Poolside Villas

"The view from the Beachfront condos is very nice. However, the walk to the beach is long and crowded. The water inside the jetty is not clear at all, so you need to walk even further to the gulf side to get to the clear water. The pool is also small and crowded. Because this building is towards the end of the peninsula, it takes quite a while to drive to all the restaurants and attractions in town."

"Cons: Master bed might as well be a sheet of plywood to sleep on. It’s worse than any hotel I have ever stayed in. Sliding patio doors do not have locks( just a metal pole you have to lay in the track that’s not even long enough). Drywall is scuffed up in every room. Needs serious drywall work and paint. Every piece of furniture has got to be 30 years old. The doors will not stay closed on some of the kitchen cabinets. Coffee mugs with lipstick on them. Women’s bathing suit hanging over the top of the closet door. Plates wore soaking wet in the cabinet upon arrival, so are they clean?? My kid dropped a ball that rolled under the couch, he had a beach net to reach under the couch to drag out the ball, the ball came out along with some stale bread, so I’m guessing the cleaning crew doesn’t do much?? There are receptacles in the bedroom that do not have cover plates on them. Very dangerous if you have curious kids looking around. The TV cable subscription is ridiculous. Basically like having an antenna. Actually an antenna would have been better. This condo needs a serious upgrade. I DO NOT recommend Poolside Villas 101. It’s obvious the owners care nothing about keeping a rental up. Pros: Holiday Isle Properties is a good management company. Although they have yet to post my review of this unit on their website. It is not their fault how this unit is updated. Great location for going to O’steen beach. You can see the fireworks from the pool deck on Thursday nights."

"It needs to be said that the beach in front of the condo is owned by Emerald Grande and therefore you cannot use it… there is a public beach a little to the right that is about 20 feet long available for use. In addition, the villa has common area where people leave their trash and nobody picks up. During the night time, the pool area and my balcony has a sewage smell. I have stayed at Inlet Reef and Jetty East and it is not as dirty there. I gave two stars because my condo is updated and the AC is nice and cool, and the walk to the beach isn’t bad. However, take your money elsewhere as this is not a cheap place to stay."
