"Got this because Priceline had good reviews. After coming here and checking in I realized the reviews on Priceline are completely false and potentially written by the staff because this place is nothing as advertised. The moment I walked in there were bugs all over the floor and in the bathroom. The bedsheets seemed like they weren’t cleaned since the last guest were in. I would not recommend this place at all."

"Stay away from this place, its nothing like the pictures the hotel sign is faded the room doors look unsecure. We reserved this hotel for one night we did not even stay. We cancelled our reservation even though they refused to refund our money, we decided our safety is more valuable."

"It was a cool room. An apartment really. Couldn't use the stove because the wrong type of pots/pans are provided for induction stove. Walked out my door and the beach was right there. I didn't appreciate being charged $19/day resort fee when advertised as $8/day. Or the $20/day parking fee to avoid being towed. The lobby was 2 blocks away from location I stayed at. The breakfast was uncomfortable- felt like i was at a soup kitchen...like providing breakfast was some sort of charity that was a major inconvenience to the establishment. Checkin process was terribly unprofessional and ambiguous, and inevitably I got ripped off an additional $20 somehow they added an extra fee to something. But the location was great, and the room was really clean."

"This was the most disappointing experience in all my many years of traveling and staying in hotels. First, consumers need to be aware that HBH is NOT one hotel. It is many hotels. They are small and run down, attracting shady individuals. These hotels are NOT on the beach as they claim, and there is no guaranteed parking, even though they charge you $18 a day for it. There were cockroaches in my room. The only reason I did not ask for another room or hotel is because I didn't think it would be any different than where I was. The room itself was falling apart. The couch felt like it was going to collapse, so we were afraid to sit on it. The kitchen drawers and cabinets were falling off. The refrigerator was leaking. The bathroom needed to be plunged after every use. The bathroom was horrible and extremely small. The toilet was low like a potty chair (I am not exaggerating). If you have claustrophobia, you will hate it. The bathroom is smaller than the ones they have on cruise ships. While the pool "looked" clean, the areas around the pool looked run-down and dirty, so I would not use the pool. The staff who came to the room were nice. The staff in the office were horrible. If I wasn't in the area for a funeral, I would have gone home and cut my losses. Extremely disappointed!!! I don't have this kind of money to throw away. I was supposed to stay at the Flamingo, but I ended up at the Neptune. They have a couple dozen hotels, so make sure you know where you are before you end up with an experience like mine!"
