Costa Hollywood Beach Hotel

"Overall our stay was good. The fact that pool towels are on the very bottom floor and the pool is on the very top floor is very annoying and inconvenient. The valet is very expensive and unnecessary...self park with a lower fee would be a much better option. Location is good right on the boardwalk and also steps from the beach. The showers could use a handle to wash off sand, but only had the shower head which seemed to have clogged "jets". Few minor issues to work on imo."

"I really enjoyed my stay! The rooms are very minimalist in appearance but huge! The location and amenities can’t be beat. I had to ask the front desk for help with the TV, extra toiletries and a bit of a noise issue one night with the neighbor - they swiftly and professionally handled all of it. I had such a beautiful relaxing week. I loved the option to lounge by the ocean or poolside. Oh and the rooftop bar/restaurant is FAB! The food is so good and I loved chatting with the friendly staff. They have a really solid hh too. I would hands down stay again. Thanks for a great week Costa!"

"We had a King size 2 bedroom suite with a water view. Most of the view was of the restaurant right across the street from us. The beds were the softest beds I have ever had the displeasure of sleeping on, maybe if I was 40 years younger, I would like them. Didn't care for them at all. After waking up on the second day, I made coffee and went out on our huge balcony, much to my surprise there were around 10 cigarette butts on the balcony. I do not smoke. I went down to the front desk and had them come up and clean them. I was there for 7 days, every morning when I went out to our balcony, more cigarette butts, EVERY DAY. This is a huge party hotel, they have a bar and pool on the roof where everyone gathers and parties and apparently throws their cigarette butts on to my balcony. Will not return to this hotel."

"The location was good for our weekend getaway. Would have been nice if, when checking in, we were told that you must request your room to be cleaned and maintained with coffee, towels etc 24 hours in advance. Also none of the amenities were reviewed with us. Beach chairs and bike rental included? Who knew. The front desk associate promised to have our room cleaned and it never happened. Second trip to the front desk and more promises and no compensation for the inconvenience. Not recommending. Go elsewhere!"

"Kitchen very nice and well equipped. Even has a washer/dryer! Great views/balcony. Staff is super friendly. TV didn't work in bedroom, tech had to come up. Piece of refrigerator casing on the floor. No soap in bath. Shower floor filthy. Expected better for what I paid for the room itself."
