The Marlin Beachside

"This is the 2nd year we've stayed for Christmas to New Year. Rooms are clean and bright. We had a cooktop, toaster, refridgerator, microwave, and coffee maker. It also comes with all of the items you need to plate it, cook it, and eat it. In your room you have 2 beach chairs, an umbrella and 2 beach towels. They have bikes to use for free, small Styrofoam coolers, free small bags of ice, electric outdoor grills, extra chairs, little floaties and after 5 pm, you can use their washer and dryer. When you book it, they have 5 or 6 parking spaces out front, probably need to let them know at booking. A husband and wife own it, and they are super friendly and helpful as well as easy to work with. The place is clean outside too. You are about 50-60 feet from the boardwalk and beach. You also can see the ocean from any second floor room. Highly recommend, and we will be back for a 3rd year next year."

"Perfect for a 4 day getaway. Maybe 50 feet away from the beach, definitely within easy walking distance. The owner was extremely accommodating and hospitable. He provided beach towels, bikes, and beach chairs that we could borrow. The stay in the room was quiet and we didn't have any problems with guests on other rooms. We felt safe in that area and didn't have any cause for concerns. The room was clean and I was stunned how there was no sand in the room at all when we got there. The room has a small kitchennette with stove top, microwave, sink, fridge, coffee pot, toaster, dishes, silverware, pots and pans. The bathroom was a bit small, but the shower was big enough to make sure I could hose off all the sand. If we go back, we would stay here again."

"First, we got to meet the legendary Max! Proprietor of this awesome place, he has developed excellence down to minutiae. Little things like creative tp decorations, towels folded in creative designs, etc. Everything is done well. Everything is clean and bright. Unit #8 has a great view of the Atlantic filtered through the swaying palms. The location is great in it’s proximity to the beach, restaurants, parks. The neighborhood is quiet and well kept. The community in general was culturally eclectic and safe. Can’t wait to come back!"

"My family rents our FAVORITE room, we call it the Penthouse Suite, at least once a month for a quick 2 - 3 day stay-cation. The property is well-kept, and the staff is friendly and accommodating to our needs, ALWAYS. The sand is less than 50 yards away from the hotel. It's ALWAYS great to have a home away from home!!"

"I stayed at the Marlin Beachside to celebrate my birthday during the first week of August. The location is perfect, full kitchen and refrigerator was everything! It saved us a lot of time and money being able to shop at Publix, cook and prepare breakfast on our own for 4 days, especially since our son is an extremely picky eater. Just steps outside of our apartment/room was the glorious beach. We rented a car, so did not do much of the boardwalk, yet relaxed on the beach a couple of days. An umbrella, 2 towels and 2 beach chairs are located in the closet and come with the room. Very convenient. Only a couple of issues, ours were torn, and ragged but as soon as I called, the assistant met me with a brand new umbrella and chairs. She was very nice and accommodating. I also like the fact that the owner called on the day of our check-in as our flight ran late. She gave us instructions to check-in. Only other small issue was there was no shelf/place to put your body wash/soap in the shower. We had to put soap and shampoo on the floor of the shower, but that wasn't a big deal and can easily be remedied by the owner installing those. Kudos, this was a great way to spend my birthday!"
