"Aside from a cockroach being on the ell in the hotel, the rooms and facility were spot on. I guess it's family owned and you can tell by the character of the place. Pool was cold but breakfast was decent... typical alternates of sausage and bacon depending on the day. The eggs were actually decent."

"Went to our aunt's funeral in Clearwater. We had a suite, which would have been wonderful if not for the lack of cleaning and pest control. You have to ask for your room to be cleaned. I'm used to not having new towels are beds changed, but we were not aware that they didn't do that until I went down that morning and asked for our room to be cleaned. The lady at the front desk said that I had to call before 8 am to request cleaning. I checked the sign on the bathroom mirror later that day and it said before 11 am, of which I was down there before that time. That night, I dumped our trash after noticing tiny roaches on the bathroom counter. My nephew mentioned that someone had complained earlier about roaches in their room. As far as service, the lady that worked the front desk at night was very nice."

"I really enjoyed this place. It was nice, when we checked no bed bugs, clean sheets, rooms, and furniture. Delicious breakfast, and multiple activities; game room, pool, gym, etc. However, on my stay, in the middle of the night the fire alarm went off for no reason. There was no fire, and it disturbed multiple peoples sleep. This is why it’s a 4/5. However if this didn’t happen it would’ve been perfect! Nice staff, fast and efficient service. Excellent stay."
