"I had serious wisdom tooth related pain for WEEKS. Once it started to spread into a throat ache and ear ache I knew I needed to get it taken care of. I scheduled with Ocala Dental Care Thursday evening, and they were able to see me the next day at 2pm! (Nowhere else locally had any appointments until mid-March). I booked an xray, and they told me I would receive a quote for the procedure that was needed. Okay, great! I show up the next day, they see me extremely quickly, and were VERY helpful regarding payment/financing. Once the xray was done, they told me that they would be able to extract my wisdom tooth THAT DAY in THAT OFFICE! I was thrilled that I was going to get it taken care of so quickly, but very, very nervous. I have some serious PTSD from the dentist as a child. I was EXTREMELY nervous. Like, BP 151/110 nervous. Courtney, my nurse, was SO patient and kind. She answered all of my annoying patient questions (Am I going to die?) and was very reassuring and friendly. When it was time for the procedure, I could not have gotten any luckier with Dr. Salifu. He came in cool as a cucumber, and his friendly, playful demeanor calmed my nerves. He assured me that he had done this PLENTY of times (10 years worth), and that I had no reason to worry. He made sure to walk me through each step of the procedure, cracking jokes and making conversation with myself and Courtney as they both worked. They made it a very positive experience for me, and their professionalism and friendly energy was infectious and very much needed. I can not say enough good about them both. I am SO thankful for their understanding and kindness, as well as Ocala Dental Care for seeing me on such short notice. If I ever have any more dental issues, I will absolutely be going back to request them both. THANK YOU Dr. Salifu, Courtney, and Ocala Dental Care!!"

"What an awesome experience! Going to the dentist is often a dreaded situation. I have recently had an awful experience with another practice which made me nervous, no scared, about dentistry for the first time in my life. I have a long road ahead in getting some fixes, but after todays visit and most importantly, after the interaction with the amazing staff, I feel absolutely no dread or fear in what is coming next. "I’m a Yankee snowbird in my motorhome arriving in Florida on New Year’s Day. Went to dentist before my winter migration. Get to my RV campground and suddenly I’m feeling moderate sharp stabbing pain in lower left jaw. Great!! Campground suggests going to ASPENDENTAL IN Ocala or Gainesville, NFW!! Hit the web and find some sites and call around. We don’t do walk-ins or we are booking 6-7 weeks out. No good for me. Finally call OCALA DENTAL CARE, speak with Nancy and she completely understood my situation. She looks and tells me I have an opening in 2 days. “I’ll take it”, sigh of relief. BTW if you have any cancellations I’ll be there in a jiffy. I drive into Ocala to do errands, haircut, lunch. I’m eating a soft burrito and my phone blows up with calls, messages, it’s Nancy and they have a cancellation can I be there in an hour? YOU BET, I’m only 19 minutes in traffic away. Get there, it’s a very nice facility in a nice shopping center, lots of staff and latest equipment. I fill out all the paperwork and by 2PM I’m in a chair and have X-rays of my problem tooth. I had my initial call at 9:30 that morning. Dentist comes in to tell me that my very expensive implant of 2018 back home was misaligned and loose and I was losing bone around it. He gives me a plan of action, he will remove my implant next day, clean out the hole and fill it with bone replacement filler. It will have to heal 3-4 months and then I can decide if I want a new implant back at home next summer or they can do it when I return next winter. Anyway problem addressed in under 48 hours and they salvaged my 8 week Florida winter vacation. Excellent staff, facility, if I were to move to central Florida they would be my new dentist. So travelers, if you come to Florida and need dental care ASAP these folks get it and understand. Btw you’re the best Nancy."

The staff at this office is extremely friendly. The Dr is definitely AMAZING, as well. He went through all my concerns step by step and has even given me the answers to questions I’ve had for years that no one else could give me!"
