KEY PALM INSURANCE

"I was a customer at Key Palm Insuranceand Treavor was the agent. Unfortunately Treavor was not providing timely information and was unpleasant to do business with. We changed our policy to another company. As of January 2024 we are looking to compare rates and decided to give Key Palm Insurance another try at customer service. Treavor advised me he and all other agents were TOO BUSY to quote rates for our two homes and cars. What does this tell you? A zebra does not change its stripes. The customer may not always be right..but they are s customer. Shop elsewhere."

"Too bad zero wasn't a rating option. Our homeowners insurance will be canceled in a few months and Key Palm never notified us nor will they return our calls. Customer service is nonexistent with this company and is unacceptable."

"Gave 1 star because ZERO is not an option. Our homeowners insurance company declared insolvency last year and no one from Key palm notified us!! We went 3 months without insurance and only found out because we had damage from a tornado. We called Key Palm and let a message but no one even returned our call. Just this month, we were notified that our flood coverage with Key Palm was inadequate. Of course, no one from Key Palm notified us and Citizens is threatening to drop us because again, Key Palm didn’t do their job! Obviously we are pulling our flood policy from them now too"

"I have been with Key Palm Insurance since I purchased my home in 2014. Since the beginning, Joe has provided nothing short of amazing customer service. I am very particular about customer service and am quick to quit working with someone if there is a lack of. I can say that I will stay with Joe at Key Palm for as long as he continues doing this for a living. I was one of many Florida insurance customers who received a letter from my insurance company letting me know that I would be dropped if I didn't not replace my roof. Despite the orders put forth by the Governor and State of Florida, I still fell into the criteria for roof replacement. The process of replacing my roof from start to finish took months, and came dangerously close to the insurance expiration date. To make matters more difficult, Hurricane Ian came through which caused a delay on the insurance company's side. Not only was Joe responsive and very helpful, he would e-mail me regularly to check up on the process and kindly remind me of the upcoming expiration. I cannot say enough about Joe and Key Palm Insurance. I believe that good customer service deserves to always be recognized, but even more so in a world where it is not as existent as it used to be. Never mind the fact that the Florida insurance market is going through a lot right now. When someone needs insurance, Joe is the first person that I recommend. Thank you Joe for everything."

"What does it mean to be an 'agent'? Apparently it only means to initiate a policy and collect commissions for the life of it and never actually check in with the customer. All of these insurers being liquidated... As an agent, you should have visibility that my coverage is now gone and taking steps to ensure continued coverage! Nope. These folks are not here to take care of you, and it's disappointing. I now have 5 days to find new coverage. Guess who I will NOT be working with! I'm sure these agents will pay good money for leads on new business, but fail to take care of folks who are already customers. This is not earning our business."
