"UPDATE RE HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE Further to my earlier review re my auto I wanted to thank the Director Paolo Matita for the considerable help he gave me last week in looking at the renewal on my homeowners insurance. As I said before being based in the U.K. Insurance procedure and terms are surprisingly different and despite we speak the same language (almost!) terms were used that had no meaning to me! Paolo spent over an hour with me going through each element of the premiums, explaining what they meant and where we could make reductions or even exclude things. As Director he’s clearly a busy man yet made the time and had the courtesy to go through carefully with me the policy and indeed getting reductions in my overall premium. The use of insurance brokers in the U.K. is getting rare, you often deal with insurance companies direct and use comparison engines, but the professionalism of Paolo is indicative of the skill and experience he and Dimmitt can offer and I would recommend anyone looking for any type of insurance, to at least make an enquiry and I’m sure you won’t be disappointed! Thank you again Paolo Paul Turner Solicitor (which actually means Attorney in American English hence my reference that we sort of speak the same language!) Have been with Dimmitts for some years both as to home and auto. As we spend a lot time between U.K. and States, our insurance needs are not straight forward. William Russell recently took over my auto account and I’m very impressed how he dealt with the complexities, my various questions, re-arranging coverages and then when we return to the U.K. doing it all again but in reverse! Being 4000 miles away it’s reassuring my account is in good hands, as it was with Deborah who has got promoted. Next step get my home premiums down! Thanks William. Well done guys"
