The Home Depot

"I went to this store on Wednesday, December 20th with my father-in-law and 1 year old daughter. We were looking for a few things including an oven light bulb. We were directed to an older, white guy in the lightning department who we encountered around 7:15pm. He was unbelievably aggressive and rude to us. My father-in-law is from India and has dark skin. As a white guy myself, I've never experienced racism and I like to give people the benefit of the doubt. But I think this guy was racist. I don't see any other reason that he was that rude towards us. I guess it's possible that he's just crazy. When we finished checking out, I asked to speak to a manager. This was the first time I've ever asked to talk to a manager to complain about an employee. The manager never came. The cashier called for them 3 or 4 different times and the manager called them on the phone once or twice, but after 15-20 minutes, they still hadn't come. This was at 7:30pm-8pm. The store was like a ghost town. Nobody was there. The cashier mentioned the manager is relatively new. Looks like this store made a horrible hiring decision. If a customer tells a cashier someone was being racist and threatening and they tell the manager and the manager decides not to come, that speaks volumes about the kind of place this is. I won't be returning."

"The worst customer service ever. It probably is worth it to just go to the one in Orange City in order to get better service. They are the worst at curbside pickup. Had me waiting there for over 20 minutes with no signs of coming out. I then called them and they told me to move to the rolling door to pickup my order. I did! After another 20 minutes of waiting I went inside only to find that no one was going to bring out my order and it was just sitting inside of the store in a random spot. An employee called the manger like 10 times before she came and did not seem to care. After they wasted my time on Veterans Day (I am a veteran) there really was no remorse or empathy towards me but rather annoyance. This place is full of lazy people and incompetence staff. Avoid it like the plague and go to Lowe's instead or another Home Depot location."

"The store was a bit different layout than what I'm accustomed to. The isles were a bit more narrow leading to clogged walk ways. The staff were working diligently preparing the way with Christmas decor. Overall a joyous shopping experience. Also gotta give a shout out to the garden center, that place was clean and panties"

"Every time I walk in the Lake Mary home depot I am greeted by Allan and Candace in outside garden They are always in stock with a beautiful selection of pavers and wall, They're very helpful As well as knowledgeable, You can tell that the associates in the store care about Product being in stock for their customers it is by far the best home depot ever. Linda at customer service is so polite and very knowledgeable. Great with setting up deliveries."
