AAA service - Petes Mobile

"Waited 4 1/2 hours. No one showed to change my tire. After speaking with the driver, who after already waiting almost an hour, said he would be at my location in an hour. Never showed Someone canceled the ticket. Still don't know who or why. I show several calls to my phone from a psychic. Of course I didn't answer. AAA said I should have answered because it was probably the driver who " might " have a side business. That should not be allowed. Who would answer that call from a psychic."

"WOW! I have never had service like this in the situation I was in tonight. Dillon was our technician. From being prepared, having all the tools needed & ready to do the job quick to being knowledgeable, know how to use the key in the key fob to get the spare down & how to properly set the parking brake in a newer vehicle, he had already won my 5 star review. However, his excellent service didn’t stop there. His attention to detail, strong work ethic, and concern for my safety & my truck’s safety continued when he checked the spare tire’s condition & pressure before he put it on the truck, quickly found the cause of my flat tire, double checked the tightness of the nuts on my tire, and finally went over the limitations of the spare & reminded me that the parking brake was still on. This business is very fortunate to have him representing them. Guys like Dillon are very hard to find. He even impressed my husband & that takes a lot."

"If I could give 0 stars I would. I called AAA for a battery jump and they unfortunately sent a contractor from Petes mobile who decided it would be a good idea to have my car running for over 30 minutes while having the jumper cables on the battery. While revving it, my car started smoking and within seconds my radiator started leaking. This was caused from the car overheating while parked in a garage. The contractor CONVENIENTLY had his buddys card on him and told me he knew someone that can come fix it in my driveway. Petes will not accept responsibility of this causing me to have to put in a complaint with AAA. After 23 years as a AAA member, I have never experienced something so vile and unprofessional. Be careful of this scam of a company."

"Our car would not start so we called AAA. Within a very short time (less an an hour), Charles came to our home to try and restart the car's dead battery. However, the battery needed to be replaced and he explained our options. We decided to replace the batter and Charles did so immediately. Charles was professional and friendly through the entire call and we were pleased with the service we received through AAA and Pete's Auto. Thank you Charles, job well done!"

"This company came out after I called AAA for a dead car battery. The driver was able to jump start my car with a booster. After this, he connected a device to my battery (see photo) that showed it was bad and at the end its life. Petes just happened to have a new battery to sell me. I declined and drove to my dealership. My car is still under warranty so my dealership checked my battery status with 2 different high quality testers. Both showed my 18 month old battery was good. I am not sure how this company gets to display the AAA logo on their vans but did report them. Also, reported to my HOA which links to several other senior ones so they can report this in next month's newsletter. 5 stars for coming out quickly and jumping my car battery but zero stars for telling me my battery was bad and tiring to sell me a new one. I am located in central FL but Pete's seems to operate throughout most of FL."
