"Yesterday, I came out of Wendy's to a flat tire and said to myself "Awesome! I'm 1,500 miles from home in a place where I know no one. I have a flat tire. I have no idea whether this car has a spare, and even if it does, it's buried under about a dozen suitcases, boxes, and bags. And it's not like I'd have any freakin' idea how to jack up a car anyway. And what is a lug nut? Is that something you eat at Christmastime?" As luck would have it, I as about half a mile from Tire Choice at 4304 S Florida Ave. When I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Ricardo R. who is the asst manager of a different location but was helping out at this location yesterday. Boy, was I blessed! I have to say, this was by far the best car care experience I've ever had. Ricardo immediately put me at ease and said "Don't worry about anything. We're going to take care of you." I was completely at Ricardo's mercy. He could have taken advantage of the situation and overcharged me, but he didn't. Instead of making me get a tow truck, tow the car, etc, Ricardo had one of his guys drive me back to the car, take the tire off, bring it back to the shop, repair it, and then take me back to the car and install the new tire. (They even checked to see if they could repair the tire, but I had apparently driven over a razor blade that went directly through the center of the tire so it had to be replaced.) BTW, the helper was a super nice young guy with a large neck tattoo and big ring things in his ear- I learned a lesson- don't judge a book big it's cover. He was polite, efficient, and really good at his job. I had to wait for a while in the shop, and I got to hear Ricardo's interactions with multiple customers. Many existing customers welcomed the first time customers and said that the would never, ever take their cars anywhere else. At one point when no one else was in the shop, the mechanic came in to tell Ricardo that the car that a lady had dropped off earlier to have the tires checked didn't need any work done. He said that her tires were fine. Again, they could have told her that she needed new tires, but they didn't. These are people who know how to treat others. I am so incredibly thankful that my tire went flat where it did. The couple of hour delay and small amount of money were well worth it for the opportunity to meet Ricardo and the other guys at this shop who selflessly helped out a damsel in distress when they could have chosen to take advantage of the situation. It is so nice to see that there are still some honest, reliable, hard-working tire shops out there. Just go to Tire Choice, you're in good hands! Thank you again, Ricardo :) p.s. Brian Rodriguez, district manager, PLEASE give Ricardo his own store. You have no idea what a goldmine you have in him. I sat there and watched him work hit bottom off nonstop without a lunch break and with the most positive attitude I've seen in a long time! There was no task that was "not his job." He did it all, and he made every customer feel like they were the most important people in the world. He also has an incredible rapport with the employees."

"Took my boyfriend's car into this location a few weeks ago, and told them the alternator was bad. After receiving no calls about the car for a few hours I called to check on the car and was told that they were running tests to make sure it was the alternator and they would call back. 5 hours later, I called back just to be told they had just ordered the part and it wouldn't be there until the next day (by 10am). At 3pm we called them since we hadn't been contacted, to be told The alternator wasn't the only issue and there was an electrical short somewhere and that they would keep looking for it. That evening I called again to be told that the first alternator they put on was a bad part so they would need to order another one, so it would be another day. The third day I called in the morning and they told me once again that it was just the alternator and it would be done soon, by the evening they were once again telling me that there was an electrical issue and it wasn't ready. At that point I wanted to take the car somewhere else so I went to pick it up, however, upon arriving jay told me they found the electrical issue and it was all fixed. Surprise surprise after paying $600 the check engine light immediately came back on when leaving the parking lot. So after 3 days of me contacting them repeatedly my car was still not fixed. The next day I took it down to Christian brothers auto, and they managed to tell me in 20 minutes what the problem was. IT WAS THE ALTERNATOR!!!!!!! Apparently the second part they put in was also bad?!? When I called back and spoke to Jay once again, he informed me that there was a no refund policy on the parts and that I could bring my car in and they would change the alternator again. Why the hell would I go back there again????? I argued with him about the refund and he insisted "that's not how this works mam". Well apparently that's absolutely how it works since I called the parent company and got my money back, all 600 dollars! All I asked for was the money back for the part from Jay, and they could have kept the extra $200 in labor. So if you made it all the way through this review, may I recommend John at Christian Brothers automotive. (Who laughed when I told him that I brought my car to this location)."

"I'm so glad this place was recommended to me! I went for an oil change and a tire rotation and the price for it all was amazing! Plus they had coupons readily available! The Store Manager Mr.Robert Davis is so nice and he's one of the technician as well. Mr. Lee is the Assistance Manager and you will see him as soon as you walk in the store with his happy bright smile. If you ever need your car serviced I highly recommend this place!"
