"Went in and bought a battery for my truck. Perfect fit. Walmart was out of the battery I wanted, and the one at O'Reilly was more expensive, but it had 30 more cranking amps. I put it in my truck, and it started right up. Update April 8, 2023. I went in last Thursday and bought some wire, butt end electrical connectors and female electrical connectors. I used a $5 O'Rewards certificat I had earned for previous purchases. Today, I realized I needed male connectors, not female so I took the unopened package back for exchange. The price is the same for both items. When they rang it up, it said I owed $1.80. They tried several ways but they could not get it to come up as zero. The clerk call another guy over, the manager(?), and he said that's the way it was since I had used a reward. I went ahead and just bought the male connectors outright and didn't return the female since that was a little over $2 more than the $1.80 and I now have extra female connectors for my tool box. Treating their customers this way is unacceptable though. Side note, my next stop was Walmart right behind them and I checked while I was there and they had the connectors for less. I'm gonna source everything I can from them from now on and probably go to Advance for everything else."
