Steves Better Used Furniture

"I have purchased new and used furniture from Steve and was pleased with pricing and quality. However, when I had dining room suite to sell, it took 3 weeks of repeated phone calls to Steve, with promised but not returned calls, and lots of excuses. Finally, A pick up day and time was given by Steve but no one showed up or called me by 4:45. When I called store I was told Steve's truck broke down this morning and no one was coming. When I told employee i was frustrated in total lack of communication and asked why no one called me to let me know they weren't coming, he agreed to check with Steve. Steve called back, and instead of apologizing for no one calling me he was very rude to me and retracted his offer to buy my furniture. I have sent friends to this store but will no longer do so. I've worked in Customer service for years and you NEVER would speak to a customer like I was spoken to by owner."

"I purchased a used bartop dining set in immaculate condition as well as pristine La-Z-boy reclining sofa and loveseat set from here. These were two separate purchases several months apart. My family has made other purchases from him as well and they have been very happy with the quality of everything they have received. The owner is very friendly and very reasonable with his pricing. If you know what you're looking for and you know what you're getting it's quite obvious that his pricing is fair for the quality of the furniture he has. Exceptional service and quality. "After purchasing a home about a year ago my wife and I shopped up and down Route 19 at all of the new and used furniture stores. Stopped here after being around the corner at the thrift shop. First, the owner of the store couldn't have been nicer, a good old boy! After a no pressure look around of the store we decided to ask about a new mattress and box spring. We purchased a quality set at a significant discount and arranged for delivery. Actually we came back the next day and bought a complete white wicker set for my Mom, headboard, dresser and mirror, highboy and 2 end tables. Never intended to purchase that many pieces but could not resist the price. Also purchased a headboard for our bed. Well, after having it delivered free, the fellows from the store set it up and even did some custom work to drill holes to match the bed frame to Mom's headboard. When Mom came down and saw it, she couldn't have been happier. Her bedroom is beautiful! As for our bed set, we have slept on it numerous time and it is as good as we thought it might be when we purchased it. Certainly we would shop here again and highly recommend."
