"I am a 50 year old man and walked in to this store to buy cigarettes and the manager told me that I couldn’t buy them, because the woman who accompanied me did not have ID. In my concern, she is racist because how is she going to deny me if the cigarettes are for me. I asked for the manager, but she told me she was the manager and still denied me. I felt targeted and was treated unfairly. I left the business and left to another dollar general, and the clerk that attended me there, sold me the cigarettes without any problem. Never in the years I have lived in this country has this happened to me."
"The best Dollar General I have visited ever! I go to this type of store alot and I was blown away today. The amount of quality , style and value were plentiful. Largest home decor selection ever seen. Great aisles that are with organized clearance sections (yes sections!). Aisles were stocked and clean. Staff was working hard and made eye contact. Serious with their cleaning schedule as I witnessed employees actively engaging standards. I live out of radius and am sad to say I won't get here a whole lot. Constructively I would bring up the checkout area was loose and not easy to navigate. Thank you for the great shopping experience. **Photo is of a store display I encountered while shopping."
