"Purchased 6 fans, over 3,000 dollars installed four tick, grind, two completely stopped working called Zack at least 10 times, customer service number twice, not one call back from customer service all I get is one excuse after another Zack even came out to house took video of fans still nothing called two more times after that, this was a new build house, never encountered this with a business before, noticed one of the reviews was from electrician that works for them, must be desperate for good reviews...do yourself a favor do not buy from this company unless you want to throw your money away"

"Would Never recommend this store. If your fans breaks, Zach will get to it whenever, I mean whenever. He is Terrible communicating with you about your broken fan. It may or may not get fixed, and only one guy to fix them . they have a Back up of broken fans. I bought 5 fans from them..3 broke within 1 year. Expensive dc fans..can't get this store to fix them....don't buy from this store. Still no fans are fixed yet. Oh yeah, they guarantee them for life, jokes on you, you may spend the rest of your life waiting for them to fix it .no phone call back from Zach, someone else couldn't help us with it. Oh, and he only works 3 days a week....don't waste your time or money on this store. Can not believe their doors are still open."

"First and last time I'll use Dan's Fan City. I spent over $1,300 for two fans and was told the installer would call me within two days. I was told the installation charge would be $50 per fan. Almost a week and a half later, still no call from installer or store. A couple phone calls later I was told the installer didn't cover my area (the owner had my address and never told me that my area might be too far for the installer). I was directed to call another company to get the installation done. When I called them, I was told the installation charge was "a minimum of $125 per fan"). Zack was supposed to deliver my purchase by yesterday......he was a no show...no call or reschedule. When I placed my order, I told Zack I wanted a turnkey job to include all fan parts, light kits and remotes. When I went to pick up my purchase, I was told the remote and the down rods were an additional charge. While picking up my purchse today the assistant manager (I think her name was Laura) got Zack on the phone and told him I was displeased. Neither of them would approve any kind of reimbursement for the additional cost of installation and initially wanted to charge me more for items that was supposed to be included with the initial purchase. So, now I'm waiting on an installer from another company. I certainly hope the product is worth what I paid because the service wasn't."
