"Spent some down time with family. Wonderful small decks to relax on. Could use benches to rest and take in sun. We encountered different types of turtles/fish, some Iguanas and a squirrel. Absolutely Beautiful day. There was a huge pavilion with an area for catering or cooking to serve alot of people."

"I was looking for a quiet park for a quick walk between appointments. This was perfect. I felt safe even though nobody else was there with me. I'd go back again."

"This is a cute park at the entrance to the Morikami Japanese Gardens and Museum in Delray Beach. The main amenity in this park is the large Lake Biwa Pavilion that can be rented. It holds up to 125 guests and there is a restroom, water, and electricity. The pavilion comes with tables and 5 grills. Also in the park is a small playground on sand with a slide and swings, smaller picnic pavilions, picnic tables, and grills. My favorite part of the park is the board walk that takes you down to a pavilion on Lake Biwa. It is so peaceful to sit and watch nature, birds, and the water. I have passed this park many times going to and from the Morikami and always meant to stop and visit the picturesque lake pavilion you can see from the road. The museum has the excellent award winning Cornell Cafe but if you don't want to eat there this park would make a lovely picnic spot as well as a great place to hold an event."

"This is a small park in front of Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens off Jog Road. It has one large pavilion which can be rented for parties/events. Most of the time the pavilion is empty so you can use it. There are two other small covered pavilions with 4 picnic tables and paved walkways making wheelchair/walkers access easy. Six other uncovered picnic tables are in the area. The main pavilion has bathrooms which are always in good condition. The park has a large grass area where people take their dogs for runs and have seen people flying drones there. There is also a small playground for kids. It’s not the best playground in the area but if you have young kids they will enjoy it. The gem of the park are the walking trails through wooded areas. These are not marked in any way but the park is small enough that you can’t get lost. My wife and I often do 5K runs there since it’s one of the few parks with shaded paths. It’s just the right size to get 5K done. I’m not really sure where this park ends and Morikami starts. It feels like one large park. Morikami has a fenced area for paying visitors only. The park is worth a visit if you want to have a picnic, take a walk or run or just take a beach chair and hang out without any crowds. The parking area is large but people also park in the back grass field."
