About the Business

Delray Beach Children's Garden is a unique park and tourist attraction located in Delray Beach, Florida. The institution's mission is to nurture eco-consciousness in children through garden education, nature exploration, and outdoor play. Through a variety of child-led play activities and sensory-rich classes, young visitors can learn about gardening, environmental science, garden-to-table cooking, and herbal apothecary. The institution offers experiential learning opportunities for children of all ages, from preschool through high school, to develop healthy eating habits, learn about the ecosystem, and foster eco-conscious habits. While they no longer host birthday parties, they now offer public weekend workshops through the Nature Education Cooperative. Visitors can enjoy a giant sandbox, herbs to smell, cotton to pick, water tables to splash in, crafts to make, and more. The Delray Beach Children's Garden is described as a little piece of paradise in the middle of town where kids can explore and connect with nature. It is a treasure for the community and a welcoming space for children to learn and play.

"Wow what a fantastic place to have a children's party. I was there for my granddaughter's third birthday party and it seems that not only the children love the place but all the parents and friends of the family. Can't say enough about the service the atmosphere and the care that was taken to make sure this party was a hit with everyone attending. I highly recommend this location for any of your party needs."

"Took our kids ages 1, 3 and 5 to the children’s garden this morning for free play time and we had such a good experience! Wonderful little garden tucked away in an urban setting, filled with wonder for kids to enjoy. Plenty of shade and seating for parents to sit and relax while kids play and get dirty. Our children really loved exploring, especially our 1 year old baby! The mud kitchen and water table area were a favorite amongst them all. Lots of wildlife shares the garden like lizards, iguanas, toads and so many beautiful butterflies! My 5 year old daughter will be homeschooled and she kept saying “this is the best school ever! I want to come to this school every day!” We are now looking into trying to get a spot for the future co-op classes 3 times a week. Thank you Delray Childrens Garden for this beautiful little space for everyone to enjoy!"

"So you have children and you want them away from screen well this the place for you. DBCG is one the place where children can be children and parent can sit and relax under a tree where you can exhale. I love that my girls enjoy and don't want to leave. They play for hours and all the amenities that DBCG has. it is a great place for children to expand their imagination, learn how to care for the earth and be in nature."
