About the Business

Honeymoon Island Beach

Honeymoon Island Beach, located in Dunedin, Florida, is a natural oasis just a short drive from Tampa. With over four miles of pristine beach and a three-mile trail through a virgin slash pine forest, it is a popular destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. Visitors can spot eagles, osprey, and other wildlife while exploring the park. The Rotary Centennial Nature Center offers educational opportunities for those interested in learning more about the park's history and natural resources. Activities such as swimming, fishing, shelling, hiking, and bicycling make Honeymoon Island State Park the perfect getaway for a day of relaxation and adventure. Additionally, the park serves as the ferry terminal for access to Caladesi Island, another unspoiled state park.

"It's always great visiting here. The sand dunes are gone now. The beach has eroded badly from the storms. The water is a little cool now but tolerable."

"I believe the county have enough money to pick up all the Rocks around the beach and Pour a few hundreds of Dump Trucks of Sand on this beautiful beach. Also they don't let get Ubereats inside of the park but the restaurant is not open on the weekends"

"How many beaches a wonderful experience for you Family and it has a pet beach so it’s actually pet friendly. You have the theory that will take you to Caladesi Island, where you are able to experience a more private setting it is about $18 per person were you able to bring your cooler barbecue grill and kinda sit out on a more private setting and relax dolphins are often found in Europe in the ferry ride comes equipped with really good entertainment from the captains it is so serene and perfect for feeding the seagulls or anything like that but the Dolphins are the star of the show at this beach"

"Love it. We parked so that we were on the beach in front of one of the bathrooms which also had a snack. Sadly the beach was very narrow but a plus was that it had a lot of seashells. So we moved further down the beach so that we were between the two bathrooms and snack bars. Plenty of parking it was $8 for the two of us to get in. The first place we sat we were attacked by a lot of tiny bugs but once we moved we were fine. Probably wouldn't hurt to take a bug spray just in case. Once the tide started to go out we found lots of bigger sea shells. They had chairs and umbrellas to rent but we took our own. There were a lot of people there, I just didn't include them in the photos."
