"Pete, from start to finish, we appreciate your patience and expertise. I can't imagine the pool looking any better! The process was so fast, even though I couldn't choose a deck color and then disliked the one I picked. Thank you for fixing my error and providing invaluable advice along the way. I would recommend Comfort Pools to anyone. Thank you again!"

"Almost $30,000 later, left with an atrocious looking pool surface with streaks and equipment that’s not setup correctly as promised. Stay far far away from Pete and his pool company as he sub-contracts all his business to third parties that either don’t want to finish a job correctly or straight up lie to you (I was told a myriad of excuses and ghosted by his sub-contractor before h sub-contractor completely quit the job and left me in the dark. Then afterwards he will guilt you into paying for incomplete service because everything is paid for through his line of credit that has a specific due date. NOTE: what you are seeing is not dirt or anything else, it’s streaks that’s in the pool surface that showed up as soon as the job was complete and they refused to fix it and made the excuse that it would improve over time. It didn’t, it got worse, but Pete has my money anyway and now I’m forced to pay another ~$10k for another resurface, again. - Roughly a year after this job because it never got better"

"I could not be happier then I am with the results to my pool from Comfort Pool. Pete, the owner, is an interesting guy with lots of colorful stories, but more importantly, a lot of pool knowledge! He’s very up front and honest. Was very patient in explaining the process every step of the way. My favorite aspect of his personality was that he is extremely prompt! If he says he’ll be at your home at 11:03, he is there at 11:03!!! I can’t say enough how I appreciate that. I have had many contractors who show up many hours later (or days) with no phone call, text, or explanation at all. I would tell anyone who is looking to upgrade their existing pool to give Pete a call!"

"What started as a basic refinish turned into a total remodel! Pete was patient and understanding from start to finish, as I changed my mind and added onto the project. He’s a quirky guy and fun to work with. I really enjoyed his sense of humor! Pete is honest and doesn’t try to up-sell you on things you don’t need, which I really appreciate. Overall we had a great experience with Comfort Pools and I highly recommended them to anyone in need of a pool remodel. Oh, and the pool looks gorgeous!"

"So I called a lot of pool companies and had quotes on what I needed done. I recently bought a house with a 14' x 26' pool in an enclosure and I knew repairs were in order. Turns out, I needed a complete remodel of the pool and maybe the deck. I had cracks and was losing about 1" of water a day. I also had paint and plaster coming off the pool and if I tried to balance chemicals, it made the pool a disaster for about a week. Bottom line, it had to go and the paint somebody put on the bottom to cover it up was going to make it more difficult. Pete came out and I instantly knew he was the guy for me. He's a sarcastic guy, but it is because he knows the business. Trust him, do what he says, and you will be pleased. I'm an engineer, I'm a fairly sharp guy, but as soon as realized his skills, I didn't question him. A few others matched his knowledge, but I just didn't feel the same trust I felt with Pete. His overall price was the best by a small margin as well. The best known and biggest company in Tampa (who nobody can badmouth) was 61% higher than Pete just for reference. Most of the others were about 20% higher. We set up the plan which was "the pool" only to start. Day one was draining and water blasting and old tile removal. Pool was down to bare bones and the three cracks I had were exposed. Good news, they were not bad. Pete patched them for free. Then they came and cut out the old skimmer and put in the new one, and about that time I decided I wanted pavers installed. Pete rushed me to the store to select which ones and I pulled the trigger. Then new pavers, new tile, salt system and heat installed and then a break for the holidays. After the new year, the prep guy came and then the plaster folks. Finally the pavers were finished on the deck. Pete was there for every major event, and in constant communications with his team. A month later, Pete came back and got my salt system on-line. It's been about 40 days since they finished and the pool looks great. No leaks at all....zero. Salt works great, heater works great, and the deck is amazing. They also fixed a drainage problem I had with it because my old pool wasn't level. I took photos all along the way to document the experience. I'd give Pete 5 stars in every category and recommend him to anyone looking for some type of work to restore a pool. He doesn't even do new pools anymore, which is another testimonial to his expertise and focus on this one area. PS: It looks like the photos won't upload in chronological order. You can probably figure out which was which though."
